Hang on a sec, why would Hibs sell their then best player to their biggest competitor in the league? Are you being serious with that comment?!
I think you'll find Falkirk were your closest competitor in the league (0pts). Then Raith Rovers (8pts).

Rangers won the league by 11 points.

A bit of accuracy doesn't hurt. It fks up your argument, but it doesn't hurt.
A little bit of accuracy?! You're quoting the end of season league placings - I'm talking about when The Rangers tried to buy him!!

Jesus, you lot are so keen on arguing that you don't even read the posts.

When we sold Allan to Celtic we had just finished 2nd with Rangers 3rd. Falkirk came 5th.

Who's a failure now, oh wise one?

Fairly clear from my post I'm calling Hibs and Lennon failures. The odd success amongst litanies of embarrassing failures.
So let me get this right - Hibs are failures for getting to the semis of promotion play-offs, getting to the final of the league cup, and winning the Scottish Cup.

Why is Lennon a failure?

And Rangers are successful for winning promotion second time round in the second league of a country where they have the highest wage bill? And winning the petrol station cup?

Right. :rolleyes;
Over recent history Hibs have been failures. Cruising in the premier league a few seasons ago, before losing however many games in a row to finish 11th and get relegated despite leading 2-0(?) as the game reached the climax. Then all the various times they've Hibsed it in the last couple of seasons.

Lennon had a series of embarrassing cup defeats etc, did he actually win anything? And Bolton didn't go well I don't think.

Thanks for your concern regarding Rangers, and keeping us in your thoughts.

My bad. I mistook which of your three seasons of failure was in question.

Some amount of Glasgow based Hibs fans up in court for the Cup Final riot, no wonder they struggle to sell out Easter Road laugh

I see it hasn't taken Lennon long to pick up the way things work at Easter Road and signed a past-it striker on a one year contract.

Grant Holt?

I'm happy with that signing - we need experience in the squad to support young chumps like Cummings.

Well I will be delighted to be proved wrong, but a guy who couldn't get a game for relegation fodder last season doesn't fill me with optimism.

Both Hearts and Aberdeen squeaked wins tonight in the qualifiers. Could be worse at this stage of the season.

Should have the experience and know-how to contribute to a championship team on and off the pitch I imagine.

True.
The point I was making is that now Stubbs is gone we seem to be reverting to the old pattern signing old players on one year contracts. That does absolutely nothing for continuity or team development.

He's got so many European games lined up as well...

That ban could last for years and years.

Head it when I flicked on the phone in on Clyde last night. Just looked it up there, but can't seem to see what he's been accused of doing?

Anyone know? A lengthy ban!

Last night the irn bru cup kicked off.

I saw the attendances for most matches were below 500 if not all.

The bounty for teams is £500 extra prize money and free water from barrs the sponsor.

It really is an utter shambolic setup.

This was always a meaningless cup. Ive seen falkirk win it three times. All three were st and nothing to celebrate.
I hope we field our youth and get punted out it.

Didn't see it, but UEFA say violence towards the referee. Not like he doesn't have previous, either.

He's a clown. He should know very well what happens when you abuse a referee.
