I used to follow Scotland every home game I vowed never to go back after I attended every qualifier, so guff like the faroes but never got a ticket for the Dutch play off as it went to the "tartan army" fan club. No public sale.
The November 2003 play off against Holland?

There was a public sale. Thats how I got my ticket.
How did you buy it? Or was it a friend?

The guy that bought ours for the group was told Tartan army members were allowed to pick 2 tickets per member and with 30,000 odd members they were all gone.

decent performance last night, you could question players but it would have made little difference against that calibre of player.

its the old question of why the fk cant they play like that in the games we need to win, why do they up their game against teams we have no chance of beating.

Very odd, you seem to always play a bit below the standard of the opposition. Losing narrowly to Germany and giving them a really tough night, with a performance that would have comfortably seen off Georgia.

Has someone explained to Scotland that you get the same number of points, regardless of who you beat!

queued at Hampden. They turned one of the south stand concourse food outlets into a ticket office. I think it was the saturday two weeks before the game.

fk knows. The one major thing that depresses me is when I was proven right after McLeish left and Burley took over. After all the good work that Walter Smith did, which, in my opinion, was then galvanised by Eck, why-oh-why did he have to leave to take the Birmingham job?! Burley wasn't fit to wipe down McLeish's chalk board and knocked us right back again. I said it would happen. And it did. All in my humble born-in-England-but-had-it-drilled-into-me-that-I-was-a-Jock opinion.

sorry I dont know the situation with Poland tickets. After many years attending home games I chucked it during the Levein era. I've been to 1 Strachan game but with the move away from Saturday games plus the ~40% ticket price increase I doubt I'll be back in a hurry.

Scottish refereeing at it's best seen at East End yesterday. Willie Collum is a standard bearer for crap refs but yesterdays was a cut above on the crap meter.
No excuses for losing. But when a team should be down to 10 men for almost, if not, breaking someones ankle with a tackle from behind. You know you are up against on an afternoon.

Quick Scottish football question. When Ross County play Inverness CT, and an ICT player is badly fouled, do their fans chant "You dirty Northern bds". And do the RC fans reply "get up, you soft Southern jessie."

Have you ever heard they're fans. There's a video doing the rounds of Falkirk fans celebrations after a goal at the final and ICTS it's embarrassing just how "family" they are.

I'm in Dingwall Tuesday. I'll ask them smile

It's a bit more difficult for rangers when they come up against the big teams!
