Posting completely inconclusive pictures really adds to the thread. So many martyrs in glass houses.

Here are the greatest fans in the world giving Dutch police respect.

And swapping pleasantries with Hearts staff.

Nobody is saying Rangers are perfect. But we'll not be taking any lessons in behaviour from Celtic or Hibs.

So, are there any mods around who can go through this thread and weed out all of the troll posts? Just like what happened in the Rangers thread please.

Any references to 'Newco' or 'Sevco' etc are designed to antagonise and 'wind-up' fellow posters, and surely there is no place for that on your reputable forum right?
You signed that petition, didn't you laugh

Press the report button on any offending post, but be warned, the mods don't take too kindly to frivolous reporting just because of bruised feelings

2. Do not be argumentative for the sake of it or be deliberately contrary.

Some might fall foul of the spirit of this rule methinks.

Is that your defence?

Just as we'll the police have numerous videos to trawl through over the next few days

And your board's statement is suggesting Rangers where perfect on Sat

It also appears that they'll turn a blind eye to pyro & sectarian chanting, kinda loses them the moral high ground that

Why is it you do this? Everytime there's a relevant discussion all you want to do is dig up irrelevant things from the past.

Celtic, Celtic, Celtic.

You never ever accept any responsibility for anything. Excuse after excuse.

Stop playing the victim. You're shameless.

I don't need a defence, I wasn't there.

Gordon Waddell, journalist was.

"The denials of any assaults taking place are remarkable. I stood and watched at least two players and a coach taking a kicking"

"The whataboutery of the pecentage of Rangers aholes who succumbed compared to the 000s of Hibs fans is also incredible. Cause and effect?"

"Rangers fans' restraint - the vast majority - was admirable. Rest of their performance with the sectarian songs and the flares? A disgrace."

Grow up.

You keep picking a fight and realise how weak your points are. I'm sure it clicks just how silly your own views are at times.

This is now the 6th time you're going to ignore me or leave the football threads.

I'll bet that once you have a chance to jump on my back your silence will end again.

Hasn't it been agreed that Rangers (and other clubs) are taking all reasonable steps to prevent sectarian singing, therefore the clubs aren't getting punished?

What reasonable steps can and have taken place?

Most of the songs are sung as an act of defiance. They obviously cracked into song when confronted by the Hibs fans yesterday.

The problem is the Rangers board keep putting out statements of being the victims and hard done to. That stirs up the fans, then that leads to acts of defiance.

Too many statements to appease the fans and fuel the fire of having rough justice.

I don't specifically know what steps - but as I understand it clubs don't get punished for sectarian songs if they show they've taken all reasonable measures to stop it.

Is there anything else in particular you'd like to see the Rangers board state? What would you advise would diffuse the situation - or should they stay silent on these matters?

They need to go about their business in a professional manner. Green and now King are trying far too hard to be one of the fans. They keep picking subjects fully aware of the ill feeling and know how their statements will get the fans onside, appease them, but light the fuse at the same time.

Constantly playing the victims, constantly making out they are hard done to, constantly denying anything is their fault.

They play the fans like puppets and it works everytime. They fuel the fans to be upset and angry and it works a treat.

Goading, plain and simple.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5PORBIoeSY

If those Hibs fans weren't on the pitch, then NONE of this happens. It's as simple as that.

How anyone can even begin to apportion blame to Rangers fans, shows how bitter and twisted Scotland has become. Yes, they shouldn't have gone onto the pitch, but compared to the thousands of Hibs fans who started this event, it's a non-story.

Where are the police during this? What did they do to stop Hibs fans charging towards the Rangers end?

Serious questions should be raised against the SFA and the police. But no, it's all about how a few Rangers fans dared to defend themselves in the face of all of this.

Now, considering it is an offence to enter the field of play, I expect there to be thousands of arrests please for breach of the peace.

Well Celtic fans also sing sectarian songs and pro-terrorist songs, so I'd get down off your high horse son.

Any of you oh so innocent Celtic fans also care to answer why a Celtic fan was at the game?

https://twitter.com/1_pzj/status/73450583101059891...

I doubt he was the only one either.
The only reason I can think of as to why Celtic fans would be at the game, is for there to be trouble. Strange how that turned out isn't it?

Unless Celtic fans just love watching Rangers, I mean they do post about them on forums, newsgroups, newspaper comments, twitter, youtube....any place on the internet really, so I guess that's also possible.

I'm happy to condemn that when it happens, was merely pointing out that the Rangers board decided to airbrush the inconvenient truth from their statement when pointing the finger at everyone else bar their own supporters (despite them doing all they can according to Simoid laugh

I look forward to your condemnation of the majority of Rangers fans who where singing ditties like TBB when you reply
