Looks like rangers have held talks with the sfa after the Aberdeen refereeing performance.
So? I"d suspect the 'talks' were about 90% one way. The Sky report says Rangers pointed out 8 incidents. I"d assume the response was 'Noted, cheerio'.
Still, feeds the 'everyone hates us and we don't care mentality'. Might have been more positive all round if the new manager had tried to move on from that, but whatever.

Rangers want an explanation why the penalty wasn't retaken after the ball moved a few inches at the penalty.

Maybe because at the time nobody noticed such a minor movement of the ball? It's tedious nitpicking of the highest order. It's so trivial.

Rangers want to know why Brown wasn't booked for simulation when Kent was sent off? How many fouls are given on the park every week that weren't really fouls. He wasn't booked as the referee thought it was a foul.

As pointed out by the Daily Record Kent lead with the studs showing. They say it was a yellow.

Are Rangers going to point out the times Morelos was rolling around trying to win freekicks without contact? Are they going to make a deal about the penalty not given to Aberdeen immediately before Rangers' goal?

Rangers were trying the same sneaky tactics as Aberdeen. Sadly Aberdeen done it better. The meltdown over it is hilarious.

A game where Rangers were very lucky to get a point and big decisions went against Aberdeen and they are behaving like this?

Read the comments everywhere. Everyone is laughing at Rangers. It's the banter years all over.

I'm surprised by the Celtic fans jumping on board with this. They were quick to point out decisions going against them earlier this season and the club even stated they had weekly meetings with the SFA regarding referee performances.

How can Rangers be so oblivious to all the decisions which went in their way to help them scrape a win this season? It is absolutely hilarious!

Pointing out refereeing errors is fine, epsicially when they are obvious, but the issues in the latest game are to all but the most passionate fans clear cut, in particular the pen not given and the goal that shoudln't have been allowed. The miniscule Uri Geller ball movement is a non issue - The officials missed it, get over it. If fans of other teams aren't allowed an opinion thats fine, I'll shut back up. Honestly, a bit of banter used to be fine, but now unless everyone falls in line behind the 'oppressed' it seems to cause major issues. Honestly, it isn't worth it.

For what it's worth, VAR can't come soon enough - Quite why it's going to take a season to implement and train officials is a mystery. But, with VAR some teams need to be careful what they wish for.

Don’t think it feeds any mentality, the ref was shambolic and the fact that he’s the main talking point after the game pretty much shows it. He also had the worst refereeing performance I’ve ever seen at Celtic park in 2019.

all clubs have a right to question wether they are up for the job.
just like Ian bankier admitted to at the Celtic agm, perhaps that feeds the “referee are masons mentality” though.

I don't think VAR will be the panacea that some expect. I'd rather we invested in getting a better standard of referee through training or making them full time.

Full time officials are a must, had a little chuckle last night watching Beaton trying to keep up with the players as they broke up the park, looked like he was running in porridge.

Not much of a game last night despite the score line, first half was like a training match and a few of the reserves fully showed why they will be out the door soon. Highlight was young alex Lowry though, some excellent play and the finish for his goal was excellent.
