This sends alarm bells ringing in my brain. Poch would have chosen the best time to negotiate a contract and clearly he believes that is now before what is potentially our most disastrous ending to a season ever.

Imagine the humiliation when the best Spurs team in premier league history comes third to an Arsenal team that their fans imagine are so rubbish that they want to sack their most successful manager. That would be utter utter humiliation.

I work with a huge number of fanatical Arsenal fans - for me and my pocket this will be disastrous! I had a number of bets from 3 months ago that we would finish above them.

I'm not getting on the teams back. Its been a fantastic season but finishing behind Arsenal would be terrible considering where we were at half time only 7 days ago. - and it would leave a very bad taste in the mouth.

We need to get the business done before the last game of the season, which means a draw at Chelsea and a win against Southampton. If we leave ourselves needing something at Newcastle then I can see that turning out very bad for us particularly as Arsenal will have a gimme against Villa.

The rivalry between Spurs and Arsenal is very real around here and I would never hear the end of it.
