I would imagine after being hacked down and trodden on during the game he was incensed that the referee failed to act.

Awful performance by your lot last night - screwed up yet another season and just couldn't take it. As could be seen by Diers attempted leg break on Fabregas at the end of the game.

Let's just hope the FA deal out suitable bans to at least Dembele and Lamela.

I'm not going to defend our players when we do wrong and I would expect the same from the decent section of your support with your lot.
Any injuries last night?

Any players in leg casts?

How is Cesc's hand?

And what about Costa's eye?

You need to have a look at some of the football from a few decades back. rolleyes The FA will throw a few bans out don't worry.
Football a few decades back is not really a valid comparison. The game is different. Although I guess a Spurs fans need to look back at decades to find success wink

Good that you only measure the seriousness by injury, rather than intent. Lamela trod on Fabregas's hand in an attempt to injure him, unless he is brain dead of course and doesn't understand weight and studs has the potential to break bones. As for Diers 'tackle' that was pure luck he didn't injure the player.

Yet the ref judged the leg breaker as a yellow, perhaps Costa and Fabregas made a little too much of it.

He didn't even book Dier for it. I am talking about the one right at the end, just before another one of your players hacked someone down and got a yellow. Dier was already on a yellow by then, not like that should have mattered because it should have been a straight red.

Oh look a video of the same thing that's been posted more than once...well done you. Yes we've all seen the tackles, yes some of them are shockers. No doubt the FA will act..

Is there anything more to say on this subject or are we still flogging this horse ?
Quite touchy today aren't we?

Yes, discussing a football match that happened the night before is flogging a dead horse...

Nothing up with a bit of argie bargie surely?

Lamella may have overstepped the mark, but everything else seemed fair enough to me.

Apart from Fabregas. Pure sthousery.

I love Costa, he's the quickest box to skirmish player I've ever seen. He can be 70 yards away from a square up between 2 other players, but he'll always be the 3rd player to get involved. He's got real pace.
laugh

He did look like he was really enjoying the game last night
He was in his element.

YEs quite but atleast it wasnt a loss though.

Can you let us know what other seasons 'we've' screwed up as dont think we have been in the running for the top spot in a long time - im sure a bandwagon member will be along here shortly to let us know exactly how long ago Spurs won the league

Fact ... We never lost anything.... We failed in our chase of Leicester, but we never lost it....

The fact that teams upped their play to foil us just shows how far we've come

If it was a lost opportunity for us, then it was an even bigger opportunity for arsenal and city, who have lost it, as they once topped the table...

Makes me laugh how some of the lesser teams think it's great Leicester won, if I was their chairman I'd be asking my equally mediocre players why exactly are they scrapping for survival when Leicester have demonstrated hard graft, good teamwork and a bit of luck goes a long way..

Well, the last time you screwed up was when you sold Bale and spent all that money on, well, not a lot really.

I distinctly remember the mood on this board at that time - you were going to be competing for the title that year. Where did you end up ?

Hi Pete... Must catch up

At half time, I wanted both rose and walker subbed off... There is passion and there is stupidity.... Both were stupid off the scale...

Even if we had held on, title would've gone to Leicester...

You lost the League, get over it. But stop trying to make out Chelse were to blame, your team were not playing fair last night.
How can we have lost the league when we were 8 points behind.... #veryconfused

Even if we won the game, we would be 5 behind with Chelsea guaranteed to throw the last game..

You lost the League as you didn't win the League, it's fairly simple to understand.
