On current form we are probably just above Villa so I can't see us getting anything at Newcastle. I am afraid this is turning into one of the great Premier league bottle jobs.

I really should remember the 2 rules of supporting Spurs.

1. Hope will be given but always taken away at the last minute.
2. We will always finish below Arsenal

So cue Newcastle scoring in injury time on Saturday to enable Arsenal to go above us.
Have some faith, Spurs last 6 games 9pts (9th)
Villa 1pt (20th)

(Newcastle also 9pts though, Gulp, having the woolwich lot pass us on the last day would be unthinkable)

So, just avoid defeat next weekend !

Hopefully Sunderland will be safe & the game becomes meaningless.

Be glad when it's all over tbh.
I hope Newcastle have something to play for and try and press us and leave loads of space for us to decimate them in behind, 3-0 Spurs!

Meh, second/third, really doesn't matter.
You're the first Spurs fan I've heard say that. All the others are apoplectic at the thought of yet another St Totteringhams day after the season that has just gone.

It really doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I agree with something Poch said the other day, start to think and act like a big club and don't worry about what your neighbour is doing.

I want 2nd spot whoever it means we finish above. The last time we managed that was 1963, when I was 1!

Talk of selling walker is madness.

Id be gutted if we don't finish second not because of finishing behind the goons but because theres is no way on earth we haven't been at the very least 2nd best team this season.

Maybe so, but then Utd haven't been the 3rd or 4th best team in the league this season and they're still in with a shout of those positions!

Missing Dembele and Ali really make me wish we'd kept Sigurdsson.

Makes we wish they hadn't been so stupid to think it wouldn't be seen on camera, go ahead with what they did. Really missed them on Sunday.

I think the Geordies will be down by the weekend so they'll be deflated to say the least. Second should be yours, you deserve it for having a good season.

Your manager said recently he was pleased with Deli Alli's maturity, I'd say he's too easy to wind up still and gets himself involved too much with petty stuff. If he could learn to ignore that stuff and concentrate on his game, he'll be a lot better player for it,

Walker's just a wannabe hard man who is quick and scores the odd good goal but again, just fancies himself a bit too much and believes he's better than he is. Could do with reigning it in a bit instead of getting involved, the acting all innocent.

You've come a long way this season ... Should only get better ...

Scores goals, hah, one screamer like rose years ago... Has pace, can run, cannot cross, cannot dribble, defensively all at see position wise... Living off a goal and pfa young player award...

I saw that too, I wondered if it was the manager sending a message to the lad as something to live up to. I agree with you though, while he bites at anything he can, every man and his dog will be taunting him on the pitch.

The list would be endless for players I'd rather have than Mason.
