Some can't help themselves.

At the end of the season all you heard from the fans was we need to strengthen with a DM and a CF. Both of those have been bought, and they were bought well before the start of the season so had a full pre-season with the team.

Now we are coming down to the deadline and seeing deadwood (or those not in plans, or have asked to leave) being shipped out and suddenly it's a nightmare scenario and we don't have the players etc etc. I can't think of any time last year where the solution offered by fans was to bring on Chadli, or to give Mason a run in the team, or my favourite someone said last night, bring Fazio on in the last 5-10 minutes to close out a game!

Why oh why can't they close the bloody window the day before the season starts to stop all this nonsense.

We were denied a clear pen when Matip bear hugged & Wrestled Janssen to the floor,

Mane should have seen red for fouling Rose ywice whilst on a yellow.

The penalty awarded to Liverpool when Firmiho tripped on his own feet after a marginal touch which was clearly outside the box.

Liverpool were the better side on the day but we did get the rough end on the more crucial decisions i felt.

Pretty much this. Plus numerous throw-ins, free kicks and corners/goal kicks given the wrong way, Liverpool goal disallowed for offside but our goal stood yet arguably Dier was more offside than Mane was. The officials were just generally very poor and inconsistent. Still, we played badly and didn't lose so we have to be thankful.

Joking aside I don't know how he gets away with it though. Look at our net spend over the last 8 or 9 years. Its lower than everyone else in the league.

But the club is in ruder health than its ever been plus we're in the Champions League with the best club stadium in the UK on its way playing good football with a great set of players who train at a centre that is (apparently) even better than Barcelona's.

Who would you have running the show instead?

It's been 8 or 9 years of non investment its not a new thing. We should be able to build the stadium out of gold by now.

You can read the annual reports over that period of time and see exactly what's happened. It's not a secret!

I've heard the name plenty of times but when ever I've watched Madrid I can't think he's either played or done anything to make me notice. Not sure what he'd be adding.

So either he's an attacking midfielder who doesn't score goals or his appearances were mainly as sub so didn't have many minutes to score (so not sure he's going to be a massive addition).

Mason confirmed to Hull, a couple of seasons ago him and Bentaleb were our future. Funny old game.

A small, lightweight attacking midfielder new to the Premier League (who is a fringe player elsewhere) very rarely walks into a Top 6 side.

It's taken Lamela 2-3 years to figure it out.
