I've heard the name plenty of times but when ever I've watched Madrid I can't think he's either played or done anything to make me notice. Not sure what he'd be adding.

Just looking at his stats from last year

42 apps (all comps) - 5 Goals.

So either he's an attacking midfielder who doesn't score goals or his appearances were mainly as sub so didn't have many minutes to score (so not sure he's going to be a massive addition).
Fantastic on the ball, great range of passing and an unbeliavble work rate..
Does really need to to move from Real now, been there to long and going stale...he would walk into your team tbh
A small, lightweight attacking midfielder new to the Premier League (who is a fringe player elsewhere) very rarely walks into a Top 6 side.
Sorry Sye i agree with my fellow Spuddie here , i'm not a fan neither & i don't think he's what we need.

Heres' a bit of a news coup!

Can't help but feel that as either club hasn't announced this yet he's going to get a word in his ear over this.

It's taken Lamela 2-3 years to figure it out.

Where on earth has anyone mentioned Zaha in this exchange?

I'm not saying I wouldn't take Isco, why not...but I'm not sure another small, hardworker who doesn't score goals is going to add much.

The club have confirmed that Mason is off to Hull , puts us in a minus again for spending.

Surely we need to build ,

I'd take Zaha over Isco too, reason being , Zaha wants to come & i doubt Disco boy does.

I trust Poch 100% i just hope he knows what he's doing with only one day left .

N'Koudou must be done...you see the pic that's been posted. He's also been training with the team a while so no clue why it's not been announced.

I'm really not seeing the issue with the squad.

Last season no-one was talking about getting Bentaleb or Mason or Chadli into the team were they? They were saying a DM and a CF were needed.

They've been bought.

They can now play 2 up top if they want. If Janssen plays as a 9 you've then got 3 from Alli, Eriksen, Kane, Lamella, Son, Onomah and probably N'Koudou.

For the 2 in midfield you've got Dier, Wanyama and Dembele to pick from or including Alli or Eriksen if you needed to.

That's just the main names with plenty of youth coming through to support all that.

So as it currently stands our spend is pretty much equal:

IN (£31m)
Wanyama £11m
Janssen £20m

OUT (£30+m)
Mason (Hull) £8m
Chadli (WBA) £13m
Yedlin (New) £Undisclosed
Pritchard (Nor) £9m
Bentaleb (Schalke) LOAN

It does seem odd. You guys didn't exactly have stellar strength in depth last season and now you have more games this season with a smaller squad....

More games?

All those listed as leaving/left barely played last year. Wanyama is a big upgrade on those other midfielders.

They will add at least 2 more before the close.

It's the same every season. Puts the job poch did into perspective. He's so awesome laugh

Whilst we won't be playing more games the quality will be better. And everyone around us in the prem has spent £100m.

I wanted Isco at Utd there are rumours of attitude issues though, likes the nightlife a bit too much apparently

If the one that plays for France turns up then yes. It it's the Newcastle one, probably not.

I suspect the chances of Daniel paying £30m are pretty much nil!
