Impressive performance on every part of the pitch, a more than deserved win.

Enjoyable match to watch as well. Poch is doing a fine job.

One of the words the Guardian site used was 'violence' for the way we played.

It's true, City will feel they've had a right kick-in today. We were extremely aggressive and ruthless.

Fair play guys, City didn't look their best but that was a fantastic result for you guys. Would love to see the current top three pull away from the rest and battle it out till the end of the season.

Well done lads.

I think we invited unnecessary pressure on ourselves with all the backwards passing and the seeming obsession to involve Bravo in every move rolleyes

New resilience to Spurs now - in the past, the penalty save would have seen you end up with a draw (or worse). Will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. At least I've got a few of your lot in my fantasy league team ...

So do i , Walker should have the minerals to deal with the much improved Sterling & big Victor to stick like glue to Aguero & that only leaves Silva to sort out.

Whatever the formation or result it should be a cracking game between the best to teams in the Premier league.

That is it - everyone was 8/10 or more. Loved Danny Rose's performance today after being out. Toby was in absolute control as was Verts. I still worry about Hugo's distribution at times though. The fitness levels are fantastic - I think that's what found out Sissoko.

You're new to being a Spurs fan aren't you. laugh

That was a cracking game. I've not seen us play that well for a long time. It was a victory born out of a players putting a shift in rather than moments of individual flair but that's no bad thing. It was particularly pleasing to see how we coped at the back - we really do look solid. We did tire - Rose in particular was dead on his feet in the last 15 minutes but it's not surprising. City found more space in midfield in the second part of the second half and Son yet again showed he needs to work on his decision making - he's either too greedy or passing when he should take a shot on - but these are minor gripes.

I think we really put a marker down with that performance and our squad depth and recent results inspire confidence that the other competitions won't impact a title challenge.
