Especially when the world watched the Spurs players bottle it in England shirts over the summer.

Who United? When?...
Yes, United, yesterday. If you honestly think that was a good performance, Annie will need adopting.

England players have been bottling it in big tournaments for decades - I don't think it's a Spurs related problem wobble

No need to single the Spurs players out, the whole squad, manager, coaching staff, tea lady, pilot and chef were st.

Unlike the 17 players from from Arsenal, Leicester, Citeh, United, Chelsea, Liverpool etc who didn't bottle it? Or do you mean the ones that played for Wales, Belgium and France?

Absolutely rubbish, you said. No we weren't. I didn't think it was a great performance by any stretch but it wasn't rubbish. We had a few clear chances to put them away but didn't.

I disagree. You were laboured, passes went astray and your defence couldn't handle set pieces. It was park football at the end.

If Liverpool hadn't run out of steam (as usual) you would have lost and deservedly so.

Both teams were very poor. I was quite looking forward to the game and I am struggling to think of a match where I have been so disappointed. Not sure if it was the pressure but the quality of the football was dire. Wild long balls to no one in particular, lack of width and an inability to string more than a few passes together did not make for exciting viewing.

I meant to add that Liverpool without Coutinho look like a distinctly average team.

Three of our best players there. Much like when Spurs looked pretty bang average a few weeks back without Kane, Wanyama and Toby!

Mane, he's a big loss for them, he has been fantastic this season. Im not sure how long he's away for?

Both teams looked average yesterday. Its a mourniho thing, he's just a spoiler I couldn't sit through a season of his football trophies or no trophies.

You would disagree. wink

I think you spuds are still on a high from your 4-0 against West Brom. Arsenal managed the same score line against Swansea away from home. Some may say that's a better result?

Say what you like but the history books will show the Utd v Liv game as a 1-1. It's been, done, over...we all move on to the next game. Lets see if you lot bottle it.

Stop saying these things! They'll now go on a 10 game winning streak or something like that. Lessons should have been learned from Jammy's comment mid-match!

Or the 4 away to Watford? Or the 4 away to Southampton? Or do you mean the 4 away to Stoke?

Nice to see the spuds arguing with someone who isn't a Scouser.

I was beginning to think you were prejudiced.
