United are st. Have been for quite a while now. Boring football played by massively overpaid players. Ridiculous transfer fees paid to the detriment of young club players. Quality youth pushed aside and humiliated by a manager who has lost almost all the respect he had.

I used to enjoy watching united(shh) as I love football. The tripe they serve up nowadays must be embarrassing for the old school supporters.

Edited to add ridiculous wages paid to (interim) managers with an ego to massage.
Who could forget a smiling LVG signing autographs after a 4-0 gubbing at the mighty MK Dons?
Mind you they were fielding the mighty Dele.

Nice to see the spuds arguing with someone who isn't a Scouser.

I was beginning to think you were prejudiced.
No it's just a Northern thing.
Absolutely. Liverpool, Manchester, they're exactly the same. No one outside the UK could find either on a map. No one cares.

£89m. We're minted, operating within FFP despite the Glazers best efforts.£30m a season over the next 3 seasons I believe.

I imagine most of those are explained by the respective players ages. More puzzling is the absence of Bale.

He was pretty ordinary yesterday.
Considering his performance yesterday I suspect the Liverpool fans are willing to contribute to part of his wage this week.

Watching his performance yesterday one could be mistaken for thinking he was already on the LFC payroll.

confused It's the same place isn't it? Aren't they just two districts of the same town with a road running through the middle?
