Standing ovation for Crouch when he went off. Stoke were rubbish.

You can see why they let Mason and Bentaleb go when we have Winks. Good birthday so far smile even if I do have to suffer the 30c heat of Cape Town whistle

The heat is the least of my concerns. It's all this sublime wine they force me to drink which is the real chore.

Fantastic first 45. Excellent.

That harry kane is still st though. His third hattrick in 2017 (it's February) just not good enough..

Talking of outstanding forwards performing at the very top of their game, I'm surprised Poch didn't use the second half to give some of our other players some game time.

The injuries in defence put the kibosh on that pretty much.

We didn't have any injuries at half time.

Yep laugh I just thought that 4-0 up at half time was a good opportunity to give TPVJ a run out against weak opposition to get some decent game time. I can only assume he's going to be moved on in the summer if he can't even get a look in on a game like that.

I also thought there was a bit of a subdued atmosphere at the ground today. The crowd was unusually quiet. Not sure why.

The Tongan spoke with us posh fans after the game. He's fine and came off merely as a precaution.

Yes obviously if you are sat right next to the away fans you are going to get the most noise. I was East upper at the Paxton Road end and from there it just didn't feel like the crowd was its usual self. But then it did look a bit like a training session for most of the time laugh

I'm an utter peasant. However, Mrs B. is a hi-falutin' City lawyer. Every year we get invited to WHL by some law firm who she instructs.

Before the game these ex-players were introduced to us. They include Jennings, Mullery, Roberts, Clemence, Allen & my all time favourite, Phil Beale.

Prawn sandwiches all round!

Here's The Tongan, after the game with Micky Hazard.

It's "Beal". I was at the Lane when he scored his one and only goal.

Typo. He spoke about the goal. Saying how he couldnt believe is when Greavesie passed back to him on the edge of the box. Then Pat pointed out he'd scored a goal too.

hehe
