Hopefully, there'll be a pitch invasion that so traumatises the Chelski players that they decide never to play football in England ever again.

Or, West Ham kick lumps out of 'em.

I'll settle for either.

Or both.

The pitch invasion wasn't done with any conviction whatsoever. frown

Charlie Adam was just on Talksport, had some nice things to say about our club

said we were the best they have played this season & said he's going to vote Deli Alli for player of the year.

He came across decent .

Must have been an imposter then. I still wake up in the middle of the night sometimes in a cold sweat remembering the time Redknapp tried to sign him.

You hate Charlie Adam laugh

You cant look past Kante for player of the season for me, especially if they win the league at the canter they are doing.

New WHL stadium cost now £800m according to Executive Director Donna Marie Cullen. Brexit slapped on 20% she says. Her email reply when questioned on the rumour that the new estimated build figure is no longer £400m but had now nearly doubled.

Hi Samuel

It worth remembering that the original cost quoted for the stadium was some 7 years ago. This new 'estimated' figure relates predominantly to the stadium with some elements of substructure for the other builds particularly the Tottenham Experience. Brexit has added a straight 20% on costs for foreign goods due to the exchange rate, overtime working and increased construction costs similarly. Revised basement works also added to the cost. We are constantly managing costs and will continue to do so throughout the process along with funding plans to ensure the viability of the scheme.
Hope this helps D

Yep...i think that includes the entire project...not just the stadium. But it's still a massive amount. Good thing those new TV deals etc have kicked in!

It possibly/probably includes the podium but I don't think it'll include the £250m spent on purchasing the surrounding land - she says herself that it "relates predominantly to the stadium". It couldn't be clearer.

How much was Wembley?

I see Chelsea got the go ahead on theirs too. Have they put in the planning application for the fans to fill it yet?

The pictures look amazing, but I'm going to need a whole new wardrobe or they're going to have to relax the dress code.
