I didn't think he looked too bad at the time - didn't cry out in pain, didn't wince at all when being looked at and then walked off.

Fingers crossed 2 or 3 weeks.

He just needs to man the fk up. Berbatov played with only 1 lung and still banged them in...

Oh well not the greatest draw but the one i wanted to avoid was city. 4 best teams in the country left so it was never going to be a good draw but we have played Chelsea twice and been better than them twice so you never know..

Two proper clubs V two financial dopers. Spurs V arse final would be great for football and the fa cup.

Any chance we can get the game moved to villa park? laugh

Think they've erased the 5-1 from memory. Probably be a bit closer this time around.

Yes, I'd be happy with 4-1 this time.

Indeed, that's when the Chelsea/Spurs hostilities originated. With the swinging sixties at it's height and The Kings Road and (trendy) Chelsea seen as the hub of a happening London some team from a shabby run-down quarter of North London had the temerity to go and beat their illustrious West London neighbours in a cup final broadcast all around the globe. From that point on Tottenham were the numero-uno enemy in London. What didn't help was that they, like West Ham, don't really have a fierce local rivalry such as we have with the Goons and so have tried to manufacture one with us ever since.

Spurs have confirmed that Kanes injury is indeed ankle ligament damage, again.

Sounds a bit more positive than many (myself included) feared though - "the injury is similar to the one suffered by the forward against Sunderland in September last year, however it is not considered to be as severe. Harry will continue to be assessed by our medical staff while he undergoes his rehabilitation at our Training Centre."

In all fairness we feared this could well happen & we can't afford to buy another striker of his ilk so we'll just have to roll our sleeves up & get on with it.

& go to church on Sunday & pray foe Harry's hankle to get better ....

It's Ankle i know ......before the spelling nazi's appear

Don't worry, we'll be fine. TPVJ has hit a rich vein of form now, scoring from open play and everything. Plus with Son managing to tackle himself on the way to getting a hatrick, Alli managing 90 minutes without getting sent off and Eriksen learning how to take corners which clear the near post we are not short of firepower.

Playing 3-4-3 will ease our problems, we can score without Kane and our second top league scorer has 13 goals from 24 starts - most teams would be happy to have a #1 striker that could do that. Son scores in every other game he starts.

I think we will manage without Kane but I'd still be happier with him tbh. Son is too inconsistent, he can have an absolute blinder one game and then be totally inept the next. Deli Alli and Eriksen can knock a few in though and who knows, that goal might be the one that opens the flood gates and turns TPVJ into a goal scoring machine. wink

Didn't you guys end up drawing quite a few games last time you were without Kane?
