One home league defeat in the last 14 months. No team in England can match that record, and few can in Europe. In their last ten games at home, Mauricio Pochettino’s team have won all ten, scored 29 goals, conceded only six and created an absolutely outrageous 154 chances.
Are the Wembley games not "home" games?
We haven't played a league game at Wembley biggrin

But what about the Europa League games at Wembley? confused

(That will teach me to read more carefully when having a gentle WUM, biggrin). Nice record! You do have a decent team.)

Talking of Wembley - I've got some bumph about a new Wembley season ticket called "Southview Season" based in Club Wembley. Prices from £999 for corner flag/behind the goal position, up to £3660 for half way line position. It's the side of the stadium facing the tunnel / arch. The ticket gets you all England home games, the EFL Cup final, FA Cup semi finals, Community Shield, and option on FA Cup final tickets. Plus all the usual Club Wembley hospitality.

I've enquired and it will not cover Tottenham games should we be playing there next season.

They reckon it's access for 9 games - didn't think there were that many England matches scheduled?

Has anyone else looked in to this? I wasn't that impressed with the CW offering for the Champions League in terms of food and facilities but I must confess I am considering taking a punt on a pair of cheap seats.

I have Club Wembley tickets what do you want to know?

CW facilities are ok but expensive. Nowadays I tend to use Hilton across the road for pre match diner / drinks.

Do you get use of the train? that's a good benefit and works well.

Do you get first dabs on concert tickets? another good benefit. they do other sporting packages for CW members such as the boxing next month.

Do you get the FA cup semis and final / Milk cup Final tickets included? if so ive sold individual tickets for nearly as much as you are talking for a whole season.

Are they useful to have, certainly. Are they value for money, certainly not.

I will find out about the train, there was also mention of priority parking but that's not mentioned in the latest bumph I received. Here's the offer for the 2017-2018 season:

Southview Membership includes the following events and benefits:
• A seat for all England Senior Men's Home Internationals at Wembley, the EFL Cup Final, The Emirates FA Cup Semi-Finals, the Community Shield, and the option to buy tickets for The Emirates FA Cup Final.
• Access to a premium concourse with a variety of food and drink options for up to two hours before kick-off, and an hour after final whistle
• Access to buy tickets for other sport and entertainment events at Wembley Stadium (for example, concerts and NFL games), subject to availability
• Access via a dedicated entrance two hours before kick-off
• The option to transfer tickets to friends and family
• Complimentary match day programme

For this season, new Southview members also have the option to purchase a 3 match bundle for the 2017 Emirates FA Semi Finals, and FA Cup Final. Seats for these events only will be positioned within a neutral General Admission area, located right on the halfway line of level 5. Members purchasing this bundle will have access to an exclusive terrace area, with a drinks voucher and traditional football fare included per seat, and cash bar available. The bundle will be priced at £300 for all 3 games.

Sounds interesting, I know there hasn't been the take up on CW following the end of the 10 year agreements so they have to come out with some different propositions

"Spurs are the only team to come 3rd in a two horse race", I've heard this phrase far too often over the last year or so and history has shown we have an almost magical ability to fk things up at the last minute. So despite wanting to desperately shut up my gooner friends, I'm far too seasoned a campaigner to blow my load early and risk yet another failure but I'm a patient man, we've waited quiet a few years for this, I can wait a few more months. wink

It's a "no" to that one: "The train and parking spaces are not available in Southview, these are for the Club Wembley membership packages. These start from £1,750+VAT and include the FA Cup Final, as well as a host of other benefits. Would you like any further information on this?"

Realistically even if we didn't bottle it against Chelsea and Newcastle last year we still wouldn't have won the league. Getting bored of hearing '3rd in a 2 horse race' from fans of a Club that were leading the premiership at Christmas and lost out to Leicester.

I think Leicester will be thaw only game we will lose for the rest of this season.

Not least because we didn't. We came 2nd it in a 2 horse race with Leicester and then 2nd in a 2 horse race with Arsenal. 3rd in a 20 horse race maybe....

We (the firm that i work for) are fitting all the gas & water pipes & there's well over a thousand to still to make, cut groove & weld.

I would say the seats are purely for show.
