Can Leicester win the league ?

The confidence that Vardy and Mahrez are playing with right now is league winning.
However they have Everton, Liverpool and City over the hectic Christmas period. If they can prove their credentials over the coming weeks they are in with a chance.
I'm interested to see how they bounce back when they lose.

I live in Leicester now and tbh I'm not going to go and see the MCFC match against Leicester at the end of the month, partly because it's an evening kick off and I don't really fancy the lateness but also because I'm far from confident over a win for us.
The only thing that gets me is that it really annoyed me that last season that the fans, I knew, really turned against Pearson when they had their bad start despite everything he did to get them promoted. The same fans soon forgot that when things started going well. Typical football fans really.
To be fair though, EVERYONES beating Chelsea at the moment.

Probably not. But I'd love to see them do it as it would debunk the theory that the more you spend, the more successful you are every time, which is mostly true, but wouldn't be in this case. The thing is, they're not afraid to take teams on, even away. Fair play to Ranieri. Must be great being a Leicester fan atm.
This season has been very entertaining for neutrals. The big clubs haven't been anywhere near their best, and it's been heartening to see teams such as Palace and West Ham holding their own, but the Foxes have been a revelation, especially since it's essentially the same team that nearly got relegated last year.
I love it when the small fry get their moment in the spotlight - I was willing Bournemouth or Brentford to go up last season, even though I'm a Canary. I don't "hate" other teams like some knuckledraggers. The 1992/93 season was Norwich's great year, and they were in with a chance right up to the end - evidence that smaller teams like Leicester can take on the big guns, prevail, and get into Europe. Norwich did not have any big name players, and showed like the Foxes what can be achieved with spirit and teamwork.
They certainly could "do it" - City, United and Arsenal simply aren't consistent enough this year, and Spurs and 'Pool have some catching up to do which I think is beyond them. I suspect Leicester would be "caught out" in Europe, but you never know.

Yes these are key losses for us. We probably have enough defensive options to cope without Huth, even though he's been superb for us, but Ulloa & Shinji just aren't anywhere near Vardy's current level. Think they may struggle a little and play for a draw.
The other concern is Drinkwater, who went off with a hamstring injury although not sure how severe. King looked fine when he came on, as did Inler for the first time, however Drinkwater has been on fire this season and is a significant blow.
Regarding the Everton game I'm not sure they should set out for a draw. We've always looked fragile when we do (admittedly this was last year), it's just not our natural game. And Mahrez has shown he can get the goals as well as Vardy so why not go out and play as we have been.
My biggest concern last night was how knackered some of the players looked with 20+ mins to go. I wonder whether that's the first real indication that with a bigger pot of money and strength in depth we'd be rotating at this point? Hopefully I'm worrying about nothing and they'll all be fresh again by the weekend
Can they win the league? As someone else said, yes it's possible, but even as a fan I don't think they will.
However whilst the other big teams are consistently inconsistent we keep going
We need to resist the bids for Mahrez in Jan as well as add to the squad, it will be an important point of the season and significantly influence our final position.
