They got their luck. Drinkwater should have seen red and the penalty was soft.

Ridiculous foul agreed. Spawny Arsenal as ever!

I don't think they'll win it though (Arsenal) - they have some tough games still ...

Leicester started defending TOO DEEP, TOO SOON. Does one player make THAT much difference?

To defend heroically like that and then make that foul mistake on the edge of the box for no reason was giving them a massive chance, which they took.

Your lot couldn't hit a fking barn door and you could have been two penalties down through your own mistakes!

We didn't need to hit any barn doors, we just need to score more goals than the opposition. wink

I guess it's the best result for the chasing pack, but you have to feel for Leicester a bit.

Their 3rd loss of the season so far.

Now if Spurs beat Man City, you can fully expect the media to return to wking over them and Arsenal again.
Pressure off Leicester, and I don't think they are going away any time soon.....

The hype would be insane if they won today and the pressure on them would be hitting exponential levels in days.

This could be a blessing in disguise given their run of incoming fixtures with the spotlight elsewhere again to knuckle down and get a run of results.

I wish they did win today and they deserved to come away with a point.

From a neutral pov, that was unlucky for Leicester.

Penalty was a penalty. it was weak but if outside the box it would've been a free kick IMO

The sending off was much of a muchness....not sure it was a yellow card, but the ref is as well giving it as he knows there's 20 hd cameras there and one will show something that would constitute it.

To the poster who questioned Leicester sitting so deep, for other teams they may not have too, but Leicester really do play with 11 men, I've not seen all their games this season but it never looks like anyone's getting hiding in any of their games. Therefore, losing one player can really make a difference to a them.

Agreed Alfa (except the penalty was pretty clear). Drinkwater was worth two yellows and another player (can't remember who) could have had a straight red for a tackle on Ramsey. Leicester could have had another penalty, but it seems pretty even in terms of luck. That didn't really play a part today. Arsenal made a st load more chances than Leicester and should have won by more. Don't see how Leicester can be seen as unlucky or that they deserved a point. Would not have begrudged them a point as they defended well and Schmeichel made an incredible save from Giroud but Arsenal were worth their win.

Even if the tigers don't win the league surely the money involved should be great for them as they will finish in Europe placing's this season. or will it cause the downfall next season?

Next 6 league games:

Leicester:
Norwich (A)
West Brom (h)
Watford (a)
Newcastle (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Saints (h)

Man City:
Cup Final (Newcastle cancelled to be rearranged)
Liverpool (a)
Villa (h)
Norwich (a)
Man U (h)
Bournemouth (a)

Arsenal:
Man U (a)
Swansea (h)
Spurs (a)
West Brom (h)
Everton (a)
Watford (h)

Spurs:
Swansea (h)
West Ham (a)
Arsenal (h)
Villa (a)
Bournemouth (h)
Liverpool (a)

Man City, Arsenal and Spurs all play in Europe twice in this time period, City have a cup final and a rearranged tie against Newcastle possibly too.
Arsenal, Man City and Spurs are also in the FA Cup, where as Leicester are probably on holiday somewhere.

Leicester's to throw away in my opinion. Nothing to fear in their next 6 league matches.

I really want them to do it. For the players and for the fans. As Scotsman looking in envy its a truly great title race this year and will be remembered for years to come.

I thought the theatrics of Arsenal during tackles yesterday where a disgrace. Getting in the ref's face and that couqin bloke gibbing on Mahrez during a sub, what a melt.

Still, Drinky was lucky to stay on the pitch yesterday, Simpson had a harsh yellow. Ref completely bottled it second half which was a shame. Results are results though so i think the guys can quickly forget about this one and focus on the next run in. As a poster above said, it literally is ours to throw away with the next set of games. If we can spur on the "great escape" mentality of last season then i think we will be as good as there!

COYF!
