Guy who stood to win 250,000 on Leicester winning has cashed out at £72000

Says it will help him enjoy the run in better knowing that he can't lose it all

Not a gambler but has he gone one match too early? (Home to Newcastle next)

I would have waited a few more weeks, for sure.

If I had a certain financial goal that could have been achieved by cashing out when he did, I would have done the same. Granted I'm usually more in the 72gbp category than the 72k one laugh

If he had waited until after next match, if Leicester were to win he'd have got a cash out of about 92k.

But if they somehow lost I'm guessing his cash out would have dropped massively.

If they'd have done at least as well as Spurs, surely then the cash out would have increased, due to it then being a game less ... surprised that the gambler in him didn't go for it ...

I've been in denial over Leicester's chances for a while now, but it's already clear they will be in the mix and are practically (if not mathematically) certain of CL place next season.

I have a feeling that there will be 3/4 teams in the mix going into the final 3 games, simply because none of the teams in the Top 6 have easy run ins, play each other a fair bit, and there are still a lot of teams at the top with a lot to play for.

Leicester need to be 3 or 4 points clear going into the final 3 games, as they have Man U and Chelsea to play, who will also be very much in the hunt for something still. The big game for Leicester, on current form, is West Ham in a months time. The Hammers had their Cup Final against Spurs last week but they keep going and are dreaming of a Top 4 finish now and have some winnable games coming up in the next few weeks.

I'm a Spurs fan and I fear we will run out of steam when we have to play Liverpool and Chelsea away in a 2-week period later this month. Both are graveyards for us. I personally think the run-in for Spurs will rule them out of contention.

I glad Leicester are doing so well, but I struggle to enjoy watching them as I've never been a fan of Italian football. But there are many ways to win and it's good that the same old teams aren't having it their own way.

Can Leicester win the league, OP asks?

shout Course they can! I sincerely hope that we (Man United) don't dent your title hopes and that you've won it by then. Keep going! smile

Working in an office with a Cov supporter (the boss) and an Arsenal supporter (who lives in Leicester), it's not been all that easy being a Leicester fan.

After some joviality between myself and the Arsenal fan, it's gone a bit quiet on the banter front from his side. I'd always said we'd be lucky to stay up, lucky to be at the top at xmas, lucky to be in the run of form... Now, maybe it's not luck.

Still, hoping to win but miles away from expecting to. I live only a short stride from the stadium and will be moving closer in April. I'm just desperately hoping the dream isn't over by the time I move house.

I still have my Worthington cup 2000 flag from the trip to Wembley, I think it might just get framed with this season's shirt if we win... If not, who cares, it's already been hilariously good fun!

WE ARE STAYING UP! wink

The more the season progresses, the more I believe they will win it.

The self belief is as strong as ever and they are in that 'zone' where they just know how to win matches.

The Arsenal fan has gone quiet as their season evaporated this week.

I'm a Watford fan and nothing would make me happier than seeing Leicester as champions.
