If, as a club, you are regularly selling out, then a price freeze should be the minimum offered to fans.
If you don't sell out, I can't think of a single reason not to reduce prices. Surely twice as many people paying half as much to get in is a better result.

The prize drop needs to come in for ALL clubs not just LFC... 8 billion tv deal starts next year from 5 billion, 3 year deal, so you can imagine their new income

I think all of us would settle on £30 , £10-£15 for kids....

Price freeze they say - I am not saying they are bad owners as I dont think they are but there has been some clever maths done here claiming prize free and aboloshing CAT B, C games -
Little steps of course and big one has been accomplished...
This is assuming that the removal of the game categorisation means that tickets for all games will be priced at the Cat A level.Little steps of course and big one has been accomplished...

Also, I'm not sure a fan protest would work at some other clubs. I can't, for instance, see the Glazers or Abramovich giving a dam what their fans say. I don't think City fans would care enough to protest. Arsenal fans have had high ticket prices for a while now but I guess for Londoners they are a bit more affordable anyway.

I'll wait to see what the Spirit of Shankely guys make of the details. It was obviously a pr disaster for FSG. And no doubt they feared that the situation would get worse for them as momentum would grow. They changed their position because they were forced to, not because they wanted to.
No-one is suggesting otherwise. I'd just rather concentrate on the positive. Its good news! No-one is suggesting FSG are all lovely people we want to give a cuddle to. And its SHANKLY. If you only ever spell 1 word relating to LFC correctly, it should be that one.
You'll find that FSG are suggesting otherwise by the way.

That's more money in the charity pot! That said, potentially more from me too as we never did agree if you had to add more for quoting a post with his name in it, FSG are

Benteke is probably partially responsible, also.

Enjoyed that. Unsurprisingly he makes more sense in German translated to English than when he speaks English himself (despite his English being very good). Had no idea he was living in Stevie's Formby mansion. How weird. I guess BR didn't stay there long then!London424 said:
If all that is true...and SOS will be analysing the detail and responding...then FSG won't have heard the last of it, I suspect. If they genuinely try and pull the wool over people's eyes, they might get another surprise.Flip Martian said:
