Yup, I much prefer getting the signings in asap. New goalie, very highly rated apparently - but will be a number 2 for now.

In other news Gotze has said he's looking forward to the next season at Bayern...
The first of hopefully a few good core signings for the team. Link also says Gotze is still a possibility. Would be a huge coup if we do get him. Then if we just could get that leader and commander in midfield I'd be happy. Anything else is a bonus.

A top quality left back is an absolute must as well. Mignolet and Moreno probably cost us 15 goals between them last season.

For me left back is probably less of a priority. Moreno obviously has to go but we have cover in Gomez and Flanno who could both do decent jobs.

Gomez is a CB. I want a proper left back not a converted CB or a LM which I think is what Moreno should be.

I get the impression Klopp's not keen on Flanagan.

Gomez did superb as a LB early in the season.

I think next season will be make or break for Flanno, but it'll be hard for him to displace Clyne if Clyne keeps up his consistently good performances.

Yes, he did and I'm a big fan, but I think he could be a world class CB one day, so I'd prefer him in that role.

I doubt he'd be able to upsurp Lovren, Sakho, Matip (maybe Toure, Skrtel) next season, but who knows. Most top class CBs start out as RB or LB.

Is he left footed? As an aside, are we getting compensation from the FA because he missed the whole season due to getting injured while with the England U21's?

Wouldn't surprise me if Gomez became third choice CB battling for a spot wth Lovren and Matic. Salvo won't be in the frame for most of next season at least I'd have thought.

The others are old/ will be leaving.

Gomez was very good at LB from the long memory back to the beginning of the season.

My preference is new keeper, another wingback, preferably LB. a genuinely stardust midfielder to lift the team and players around him, a gnarly intelligent pro to help develop Cann and introduce game management to the team, & another goal scorer.

Not much then...

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see Toure stay at least one more season. Anyone who can put in that sort of performance in the EL final is worth keeping.

Being reported he wont get a new deal.

Also being reported that Goetze want a fresh start at Bayern under Ancelotti.

Marvellous!

Lets hope we can pick up a few good ones then

Matip was in Bundesliga team of the year so there is a good start smile

Barca at Wembley might be interesting, think I may try and get a ticket for that.

With Sakho banned i could easily see Toure kept on to provide cover while the ban lasts.

Anyone know what is happening to the £20m winger Laser we brought? He has been out on loan, thought he might be Klopp's kind of player

So Gotze has turned us down, Jerome Sinclair is signing for Watford, Toure's future hangs in the balance and now apparently one of our brightest youth prospects, Sergi Canos, has asked to leave too!

That spineless capitulation in Basel was bound to have some repercussions.

Patience - got Matip and a new keeper. If they closed the window now for EPL I'd be happy (vs rivals)

There was a report the other day that Klopp was probably getting rid as he hadn't exactly flourished while on loan. Might have just been speculation of course - "This is Anfield" article, I think.

Probably because Stoke and West Ham haven't signed anybody yet have they?
