Lorius asked for the #1 shirt as that's what he wore at Mainz. To be a top goalie you need a bit of arrogance - asking for the #1 shirt and saying that's what you're there for, is indicative of that. Maybe Mings NOT doing that shows he hasn't that top keeper arrogance. Seems a nice guy, just not that extra bit of arrogance they need.

Mind you Sander Westerveld had it and he was no great shakes either...
