Sorry must have missed your link from last night. I like that he is seeing changes in the training and seeing a special quality that was missing last year. He has the players he wants to be there, so definitely a positive vibe ahead of the new season which I am sure is what he wants to transfer to the players. Create a hard working team, that works close together as a unit.

Comfortable win over AC Milan. 2-0. Origi and Firmino. Could've been double that.

Encouraging.

Could easily have been 3 up at half time but for some great blocks by ACM defenders. Mane looked excellent 1st half - pacy, tricky. ACM hardly had the ball.

Almost a completely different team in 2nd half. Origi had several good chances and looked really sharp.

ACM looked poor though. Nothing going forward at all.

10 mins of foreign highlights if anyone interested. Looking really good, Origi's goal a cracker and the build up to Firminho's was good stuff.

Lots of getting players forward but duff finishing in the first half - couldn't work out whether it was good defending or our players aiming for AC players' legs... Origi's goal was excellent and whoever that was that set up Firmino for the second runs like an express train.

Pre season friendly blablabla but interesting to see the team. The best thing was seeing how we can now play without floodlights at Anfield and save a fortune, by wearing that glow in the dark kit.
