Last weekend's tunnelcam. I reckon these are the only place you get to really hear the roar of the crowd when we score properly.

He's played 11 games for us, so around 1/4 of a season. The issue is he has looked like costing us points and has done so now. He's also likely to do so going forward as he's lost confidence/ hasn't shown signs of saving much. It would have been better to get him used to English football with a loan period most likely considering he's now lost confidence, and very much is in the eye of the public which puts pressure on him ahead. Easy to say with hindsight though.
I completely agree with this.

If Mings continues to do well, I would be tempted to loan Karius out for the remainder of the season - get him some first team action elsewhere and tell him to come back next season ready to be #1 again. Will boost his confidence, get him game time, PL experience and hopefully out of the Liverpool limelight. Ideally a PL team willing to commit him as a first choice keeper. No point him just sitting on our bench.

I suspect if someone needs a goalie in January we might get an approach for a loan. Depending on whether Mings plays well while he's in the team, I suppose we might say yes.

Liverpool sign another 15-year old - Jack Bearne from Notts County for £150k.

Inglethorpe is concentrating on quality rather than quantity, which I believe will only serve us well in future!

Completely disagree. We need two half decent keepers at the club to be pushing each other. We need a half decent backup in case one gets injured and Karius can still get good experience in the cup competitions.

With Karius on loan we'd only have Manniger as backup!

Chelsea look like they are going 9 points clear. These 'old Arsenal' wins are annoying!

All the best teams are defensively solid. We all know this hence why we're spending so much time talking about our keeper.

Conte has done well. Completely reshaped his team with the change in formation that plays the the strengths of the players he has.

If I was a betting man I'd put money on them winning the title. That sort of form is not accidental.

For sure, though I am not a big fan of Cahill and he is not what I would call a great defender. And Luiz has been questionable in the past too, although his game has significantly improved. They do however have a world class goalkeeper!

We need to win against Everton just to keep pace, which will be tough. Chelsea will go through a sticky patch no doubt about it - so far they have been lucky with injuries and can even afford to offload Oscar for £60m, so I imagine some major reinforcements are being planned in the next month. We will need to put a 6 or 7 game win streak together at some point in the season to have any hope of catching them. Coutinho is due back in light training next week... a player we need back before Mane jets off.

They also have Kante sitting in front of the defence.

You say that but I know a number of Chelsea fans who do nothing but grumble about having Courtois and that they should never have let Cech go. laugh

For the record, I think he's very good and an improvement over our 2...

Their manager is a bit like your one too, highly likeable.

You don't rate him as a DM in front of the CB's?

Surely Kante would be an asset to any team in the world.

I am sure he would be awesome for us.

They have virtually everyone sat in front of the defence when they don't have possession!

I completely admire what Conte has achieved with Chelsea, in such little time (it's almost like he started with a title winning team down on confidence). They are very well organised and hit teams with great effect on the break. But watching the second half against Palace earlier today and they were under the gosh for most of the half.

I'd much rather enjoy a season of football with Klopp and Liverpool and win some, lose some in some high scoring games, than endure seeing my team defend heavily against the likes of Palace. Personally.

Ive watched chelsea's last 4 or 5 games, theyve been incredibly lucky they were outplayed in pretty much every one. Im pretty confident they will come unstuck soon.
