Klopp needs time to bring in his own players before he can be judged.

I left at 77mins. Even at 2 nil up we were crap for long parts of the game.

Of the team that started today I'd only have Firmino in an ideal Liverpool starting 11. The rest are squad fillers or would struggle to get in a starting 11 of any top 6 team.

Klopp is having to deal with the legacy of a team that Mr Rodgers built.

Top 6? Everton are in 8th place, and I don't think any of yesterday's team would get into our starting 11..... And we have some iffy players at times. Fermino has shone amongst your team this last few weeks but it wasn't long ago that he too wasn't performing. It's not that he's so much better, it's that the others seem to have lost the plot....

It really has been so tough the last few weeks, I turned it off in support on 77 (so loyal I know). As a Liverpool supporter it's been a case of recently not knowing what could happen on any given day. At 2-0 up with just over 10 to play you'd expect to see it out. So so so frustrating.

FSG have been found out for what they really are. Quicker they sell and leave the better.

Found out for what??? Investing in the team? Finally expanding the stadium and keeping us at Anfield? Or bringing in one of the best managers of recent years?? Oh, they might actually want to make some money too? You mean they aren't just super fans ploughing money into the club through the good of their hearts and their love of the club? Look around you, every top club is ran the same as ours unless they are financially doped. Did you really expect things to get any better this season with so many injuries, new playing style and tactics and a game every 3 days leaving no time for training. Fickle fans. The worst.

Tempted to agree with this, mostly, in fairness. I am utterly pissed off but I'm not a fan of the Chelsea/Man City approach of just throwing mega billions in and hoovering up the best from around the globe, either.

For balance I am utterly against the increased ticket prices and Ayre would be much more suited to be Commercial Director than CEO.

But seriously, we finished 6th last year and this year we've had more games, less stability, more injuries and new players to integrate to the team. There was every chance we were going to get worse before getting better.

I think you're spot on Jammy.

Look at who we had before FSG. It was horrific.

Watching the highlights last night and few other recent games I would say Liverpool are in far greater need of a better keeper and defensive line up.

I can't believe people are questioning klopp and calling the walk out pointless
Maybe go to some fking games and you will understand why we have said enough is enough
This is the first of many..and ALL football fans should be behind it not just LFC fans... Sunderland fans applauded us and so they should

As for klopp for ffs we have had a game every 3 days ..he has had no time to train his team only do recovery session, RT was right when he said months ago there will be big changes this summer as so many let him down week in week out

Do people really expect that lfc fans who walked out expect something to happen instantly. ..? This is going to be 1 long and ugly long slog against both LFC and the Premier league as a whole..my
We are ripped off and at lasr the fans are trying to fight back..if it carries on your children/ grand children won't ever be able to watch Liverpool in a stadium as you won't be able to afford to take them... but suppose if it's been 5 years since you last went then who gives a st and it's easy to call it pointless

That independent article had it spot on.

'We are rapidly approaching a tipping point, where the decent majority must make a choice between militancy, in the face of ruthless exploitation of their loyalty, and meek surrender to market forces.'

For football's sake I'd love to see the German ownership model introduced here.

As for FSG. I doubt very much they've really invested in the squad. My instincts tell me that the sale of players and the TV money has paid for new players. As for the stadium expansion, they bought it claiming they'd do one thing, are doing something else and after buying the club at rock bottom price they are guaranteed of making a huge profit when they sell up.

I live a short walk away form City. These people are building schools, houses and investing in the community around them. The area has been transformed. The club for them is a brand to build and something to be proud of. For people like FSG, the club exists to make them money.

We need them too - but at 1 point we had 83% possession, against a team at the bottom end of the table, who are not playing well - and nothing to show for it. You can't win games with someone to take the chances - and you don't always get that many to take in the first place.

Now this I agree with.

We've lost far more games due to a poor defense than not having scorers.

Everton owners should be applauded for voting on the £30 maximum away ticket... as for the rest just how's the pure greed...

And here he is, the man who is right constantly.
We are allowed our own opinions sye so why don't you back off a bit when opinions aren't the same as yours, you're not the footballing oracle.

Nothing will be done with ticket prices hence why I could deem it pointless.
Mine and others personal situations regarding game attendance has fk all to do with you, that is a tttish response.
I am all in favour of Klopp succeeding.

I didn't hope or expect an instant miracle, I did expect more than what we are getting.

Everyone can have an opinion. ahole in my eyes.

Yes and no. I think it was mentioned on the commentary yesterday we have the highest number of chances created (think it was at home, and around 185 chances) and only 15 goals for it. Too many similar players.

Call it pointless if you want but post an opinion on a public forum and expect to get replies. There is a slight hypocrisy to your post.

And a "it's all pointless" attitude is the sole reason action like this will fail".
