Think he was banned for 6 months?

If a similar ban is imposed and backdated, he would be playing again around October time. So probably wouldn't miss as much football as 6 months suggests.
Yes, it was 6 months - I was thinking on article that said "Toure got 6 months and why Sakho will likely get 1 year or even longer". Of course he may not - can't remember the factors involved now.

We are staying in Castellon.

Bit livelier now but quiet by away day standards.

Mad one. 2000 tickets there was. I think the cheapest flights I got up out the north West were around £200 and that was via Alicante or Barcelona. Slogs then from them places so I wouldnt be surprised if the lads who had enough credits just bought the tickets for the credits and sold them on.

Liverpool: Danny Ings' move from Burnley to cost up to £8m

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36165363

Bargain I'd say.

Offered 6, Burnley wanted 10.

So much for that Spurs bid of £12m making a difference!

Yeah, why not. Mkhitaryan did, after all.

Yeah that cheeky £12m bid did nothing - £6m + add-ons is a relative bargain for a young English striker.

Talking about strikers, I cannot understand why Sturridge is on the bench. Klopp on BT Sport says it was a difficult decision and wanted "a bit more stability". Personally I don't get it. It is not fashionable to criticise Klopp but with Origi out, Benteke all but out, Sturridge doesn't even get a sniff when he is scoring goals. I imagine he might be looking elsewhere come the end of the season.

I think macca said it right, work rate, sturridge doesnt quite put in the miles.

Oh, and its good to have him able to come on at 60 minutes or so.

Maybe Sturridge is a little less mobile than say Firmino however Firmino didn't even turn up for the Newcastle game.

Playing a bit defensive IMO even if Villeral are a very good team - lets see how it pans out in the first half.

Imagine you've played 60 mins and then you look up to see either Sturridge or Big Ben coming on (depending how the game is panning out). Gutted!

I get your point but I would play players based on current form and Sturridge with 3 goals in his last 3 games will be feeling pretty frustrated.
