The Express tweeted on Tuesday night that Antonio Conte had sanctioned Liverpool's move for Thibault Courtois. That's slightly more understandable.

Ter Stegen according to the gossip. Odd, City need a decent centreback pairing, not a 'keeper IMO.

Also can't understand why Chelsea would let Courtois go.

Good to see the club moving to address issues. Mignolet can't say he wasn't give opportunities.

Curious to see how we line up tonight. I suspect we'll need to score 3 as clean sheets are hardly a regular occurrence and I expect to see a Yellow Submarine parked at Anfield, happy to sit back and punch on the break.

Are we to assume Ter Stegen will be going to either City or Chelsea and we'll get their cast off? Personally I don't think TS is an improvement on Courtois, but if it means we get Courtois then I'm all for it!

The gossip says Pep wants T-S at City. Obviously wants what he knows.

Hart and Courtois are both proven Premier League 'keepers who would be a step up from Mignolet. I'd expected Klopp and co to go back to Germany to what they know.

Don't think Klopp could have picked a better side regarding injuries. ALthough i prefer Brad Smith to Moreno.

Looks like we're going for it from the start. Don't think any subs will improve us attack-wise compared to the starting XI we have chosen. Just have to hope we don't lose the ball too much up front and thus not have control of the game.
