So BR and the TC were right they just needed more time wink

If BR had stayed I reckon we would have won the league and the league cup final too...it was such an own goal letting the tactical genius go for sure!!! biggrin

I am so pleased I don't have to watch that muppet anymore in post match interviews and listen to him talking out his backside.

I love Klopp beer

great performance that, if Studge had been more clinical could have been 4 or 5

what an odious arse Nogoaldo is, seemed OK when playing for the Spuds

Much as I want to like Moreno, he is a defensive liability with zero judgement, it was a soft push but 80% of the tie a European ref gives those

Still can't believe the ticket allocation for the final. Quite disgusting. Enjoy the trip for those lucky ones who can get a ticket!

I bet Areola felt like a bit of a tit for letting in all those goals.

We should stick with last nights team for the final. Don't care if Henderson is fit for it.

In the meantime wrap them up in cotton wool and play the kids in last PL games.

Agreed. Simplistically speaking Milner is effectively a Henderson who is is better form, plus with a better cross from open play (just ignore the corners!). I'd keep the same team we had yesterday for the first team for next season, but replace Moreno with Flanno or Gomez, get a new keeper and replace perhaps Lallana with someone a bit better quality if we can find someone. Then perhaps switch Sturridge, Origi and Ings depending on form and the game (do we need someone more mobile or not).

Was unreal in there last night - even louder than Dortmund - for once I came out of Anfield Road thinking, yes this end really can sing when they want...

Flights booked and accommodate for Basel - we have 3 tickets with 5 of us going, so if anyone hears of any please let me know

Dave you going? you get a guaranteed one with corp...how many corp season tickets are there? I was worried they would take a massive chunk of the 10200 we get ...

This more than any reason is why BR had to go. It was painful enough watching his Brentisms as a fan, imagine being a player!!

I love Klopp beer - Agreed! smile

It sounded amazing even on TV. You couldn't hear the anthem at all at the start of the match due to the crowd. I really really wanted to be there to hear it!

Lallana was very good last night. I'd like that from him all the time.

Can was exceptional. Last night he looked like the sort of player you build a team around.

I loved Soldado's performance last night. Just about perfect. Firmino's piss take was the cherry on the cake.

Couldn't agree more. Future captain in Can IMO. Just hope we keep him. He puts 110% into everything on the pitch. With the right midfield partner and under the right manager he has the potential to be world class. Really hope Klop is given a healthy Warchest in the summer and can bring in the 3/4 vital signings we need. I'd say a Keeper, CB (I know we have matip already but Sakho could be suspended for a while) a top class partner for Can and potentially a world class striker if we can offload Benteke. I say it every year, but next season looks good from here!

I'd add a left full back to that.

Much as I love Moreno's enthusiasm, he's a liability in defense!

I agree, someone incredible in midfield to partner Can (who I also think is a season off being experienced enough for captain). A goalkeeper obviously. And an incredible forward, one of those who, like Sturridge, can make things happen out of nothing. I don't care if they are a striker, forward or winger.

As for LB, I agree Moreno needs pushing, but I wouldn't want to see someone come in at the expense of Gomez, Flanno and Brad Smith. Same with CB; we'll have Matip, Lovren, Sakho, Gomez, possibly Skrtel as cover.
