Whats shocking about it ? The stand needs to do just that, stand. Restricted view seats are almost inevitable. One can only assume they are priced accordingly. Ahem.
Currrently they knock £2 off -I know there is some in cheaper range but not all, so you might still be paying £60 a ticket there
I have pad £56 in the Main stand for a view where I cant see the middle of the goal....

Why are we debating the merits of our ex manager?
When he was in charge I didn't think he had that many merits...however seeing as klopp currently isn't proving to be any better(maybe worse stats wise) maybe he wasn't as bad as I thought he was.I am hoping that with time Klopp will eventually deliver us some success all being well though.

BR bought the crap players. Klopp is having to deal with them.
Klopp will come good when he moulds his own squad. BR is dead to me.
Surely a top class manager should be able to bring out the best in players - if Klopp really is very good why is this happening in almost no players?
Why should it take a bunch of new signings for him to earn his crown?
If he buys a player who performs is it his skill but if he buys a dud it's the player at fault?
On that basis I could take over, spend £250m and win matches. Wouldn't make me a great manager.
We've seen all these 'poor' players play well before and so they can do it. Hell even Benteke has scored a bunch of top flight goals.
Just playing devils advocate.
For the record he has brought a 'something' to us so I like him and want him to do well (obviously) but there's a bit of rose tinted hypocritical behaviour going on.

Just because someone has previously been successful, and also is a nice bloke who is entertaining in pre match interviews, doesn't mean he can be automatically successful. Why should it take a bunch of new signings for him to earn his crown?

And you are right about your players. Most of them should be in winning teams. Some of your defenders maybe not. Maybe you've got too many midfielders that sort of cancel each other out rather than compliment each other in your team? Too many doing the same thing. Perhaps you need someone in there with more imagination. That's what Gerrard had.
Everyone slams Leicester for long balling - but they see the pass, they hit it, it gets to the likes of Vardy and he scores. Takes 20 seconds. The whole move looks cohesive and planned, they see a weakness like a defender that is a bit slow off the mark or a goalie that is too often out of position, and they score goals. instead of passing it around until it fizzles out or possession is lost.
Look at the Sunderland game... There's no point in having 89% possession with no end product, even if its half a dozen hit and hopes, eventually it goes in the net. If you have possession for a total of 35 minutes or more in the first half, you should work the goalie at least 10 times....

Amazed he's up and working as normal so quickly. Shows what a strong fella he is (mentally and physically).Klopp took over a team part way through a season. He's not made a single signing yet to this team. Yet he has already shown he can compete with the big teams.
Sure we're misfiring, but he's using what he has to make an informed decision imo, who he keeps, who he sells.
Anyway, any news on tonight's game. Is Sturridge starting?

Can't compare the two, this is Rodgers' squad and Klopp is trying to survive with it. Summer expect a big over-haul
Would you rather have a merry go round of 8 in and out or 2 blockbusters added?RedTrident said:
But 2 isn't enough. We need
A keeper
A centre back leader
A dynamic central midfielder
A striker
That's a minimum of 4 players we need in our starting 11.
I wont argue with that, apart from maybe the striker thing if Ings and Sturridge are back properly. Although TBH Sturridge is in the last chance saloon this time, and it could well be possible that Klopp has decided he can't be relied upon.A keeper

My point is for years we have swapped and changed squad players - a few have come good but most were no improvement.
I'd rather keep what we have and buy 2 x 50 or 60 million players than go through the same merry go round. Stick with what we have and replace with proven top quality anywhere on the park.

Excuse me but... HA HA HA! That is rubbish. He's shown he can't get the players to perform better than they did under Rodgers, and that he's a very likable person. Yes, he needs time to change the team into his own one before he can be judged, but claiming he has shown he can compete with the big teams... absolutely no evidence whatsoever yet!TTmonkey said:

I think that's very much our problem. Too many similar players who in theory should only cover 1 or two positions in the team, not the entire midfield and strike force (currently). I think some of them will do a lot better once we get a bit more variation into the team. And you are right about your players. Most of them should be in winning teams. In all the debate about whether the protest was a good idea or not (and of course it bloody was), this was missed. Good on him.
