This coming season we should be looking to build a top 4/euro qualifying team, nothing more.

I'm happy with our signings but I will be annoyed if we don't bring in a left back this window after adding even more attacking midfielders. Klopp cannot be unaware Moreno's shortcomings given his mistakes last season.
Perhaps Klopp has seen enough to decide that he can teach/coach Morenos defensive play to a standard he/we would be happy with? The lad has a great engine & work ethic, I think he will improve significantly under this new management team.
Even if that's the case, we don't have enough cover at LB. If Moreno gets injured who plays LB? Gomez is injured too. Milner? He left City to play in midfield. We must have a left back coming in. Perhaps once Klopp is back from the states we will see some more activity.

I might be the only one but I think it looks pretty horrible. I know its necessary and all, and was much needed. But...ugly. Mind you, stadiums with odd stands rarely look good to be fair.
I agree. It's horrific and a throw back to the thinking of early last century. In my opinion you should have bulldozed and rebuilt the whole stadium with the resources you have.

Reminds me of the Chelsea east stand when that was first built.

Are there plans to do the rest of the stadium ?

Agreed. I'm just expecting improvement, not miracles.

A new stadium on the same ground would take rather more than a Summer to complete. hehe

As for plans - would be nice to think so, to ultimately get things a bit more even around the stadium. Probably depends on success and how long FSG are planning to be here for. I think this stand was problematic enough, in terms of planning permissions, bulldozing houses etc.

Centenary stand opposite is fine..
Next the plans are for a field road so that will then also match just leaving the Kopp which I hope they extend

Agree with what he says in there 100%. Interesting comment about him not actually knowing what he has to spend - would indicate he's genuinely not interested in shopping at the top table and doesn't give it a thought.

Sturridge 16/1 for top scorer -worth a cheeky 10 spot -, if his new fitness plan can keep him fit he has as much chance as anyone...

Auguro for eg who is also very injury prone is 3/1 , Kane 6/1

New regarding our FB situation is Klopp see's Milner as cover for both

But he was the 5th best midfielder in Europe last year! Surely a waste of his talents at FB wink

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hails Reds' 'special quality' as he claims: ''This is my squad now'

He's certainly going into the season with an ebullient and confident attitude.

“I am happy with my team now, and all I can say is we will be a challenger, we will fight for everything, for every cup and what’ll happen in the end we will see.

“Certainly at the moment we should not look for excuses and say things like ‘I need another year’ or things like that.

“We will try everything 100 percent and see what happens.

“We built this team only to be successful, not one where we say we will have to wait.”

Well, John Barnes would be RUBBISH on this forum...

"it’s not a case for me of being excited by any of the individual signings for Liverpool, it’s a case of being happy with what Jurgen Klopp is doing.

“I trust Jurgen Klopp and we should trust him even if he makes a signing we haven’t even heard of before."

Ridiculously reasonable, what on earth is he on? hehe

Loris Karius will miss the start of the season after breaking a bone in his hand.

The German shot-stopper, who was hurt in Wednesday night's defeat to Chelsea in Pasadena, is expected to be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.
