i wasn't thinking a 19 year old winger was top of our list. Did you?
I wanted another "number 10"
It could be a good strategy - try and buy them all up so no one else can have one?
I look forward to the formation 1 10

lol - the Lloris thing will run and run. The Spurs WUMs haven't been on here before the match. Maybe they're not as confident as they make out. We're still finding out feet and I'd be happy with a draw (I said this before the Arsenal game, so I hope its a good omen).
I'm here :wavey

It's not a fear of losing or failure because we are all very well used to that.

This thread really can be unfriendly at times, not all of you but some of you..

I think if Mane & Coutinho are allowed to play & run at us then you could well nick it,

If Dier & Wanyama can keep these two quiet then i think we will win it

A draw seems the most likely outcome IMHO.

I'm hoping Mane will tear them a new one. Spuds 2 - 4 LFC. Sturdge to score a double, Mane to be involved in 3.

Martin Keown's article on the beeb echoes what most of us have been saying. Perhaps he reads this thread.

Yup! Thank god we're not playing a team as highly skilled and tactically astute as Burnley today!

Fair play. Some on here react more than others. But some WUMing isn't actually that funny to begin with. Most of us (hopefully) can enjoy a sensible debate on the pros and cons. Spurs perhaps suit our game more but we're just as capable of conceding 5 as scoring 5. Can't call any of our games at the moment.

For sure, that 20 minutes when you took Arsenal apart was truly stunning , then they seemed to bust everybody's coupon last week at Burnley

It'a funny ole game Flip

I think they (and we) know it could easily be a close one. They tend to play in a way we do well against, so it could well be that we get something. But if our defense has a bad day it could also be embarrassing.

I feel it could have a lot of goals in it today, and could go either way.

Sakho is our best defender. His distribution is excellent and he makes far fewer mistakes than Lovren. Lovren has improved though he is much easier to bully off the ball.

I'd not loan Sakho out, I'd rather see him come on as a second half substitution if it was really about his fitness. Which it clearly isn't.

I've seen Klaven, he's a 'decent' squad player who will do a job. Anyone relying on Gomez is in la la land. He's been out a full season, is very young and raw and never really played for us at centre back.

I'd rather we kept Sakho but it is clear that Klopp is pissed with him. So lets not pretend it was ever anything other than this. At least this article finally confirms what we've all known.

I like Klopp, I wanted him here when many were still in love with Brendan and others thought we'd never be able to attract him. But I'd rather he kept his gob shut then make stuff up. Sakho going out on loan is a punishment and not about his fitness.

Any news on PC and Mane's fitness for today ?

I think without these 2 we will get battered.

Well I think Klopp has had enough of Sturridge sadly.

Team to play Tottenham: Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Coutinho, Firmino.

Subs: Manninger, Grujic, Moreno, Lucas, Sturridge, Origi, Stewart.
