Maybe just maybe Klopp knows more than us

Chances created by full backs this season. (Sky)

1. Clyne (13)
2. Milner (12)
3. Bellerin (6)

I thought he was pretty insightful last night. Doesn't seem to care about traditional positions (beyond the keeper and CB) as such and his comments about our defending from set pieces were illuminating.

A full season will tell how right he is.
Or not.

Seems a bit of a demotion, CEO to General Manager. Sounds like he's going to be in charge of keeping the toilets clean and ordering the pencils.

John W Henry says fan protests against ticket prices are causing the club to reassess plans to further redevelop Anfield. #LFC

Ridiculous argument from them..they lost out on about 2m

The problem is they are not selling out the corporates in the main stand..I understand there was probably near 2k empty for Hull on Sat

So of the 250m costs for stand..half paid for by council..4-6m naming rights per year and God knows how much on Corp..so estimate paid off I'm 5-6 years... but ticket prices are an issue when earning an extra 90m or so a year from tv..crazy statement

I think an estimate of 10 years would be more likely - especially if they're not selling out the corp tickets as you say Sye. That's not a great return on the investment to be fair.

Having said that, as you say, with the crazy TV deals at the moment, it is ridiculous to blame the situation on tickets!!

Seems odd. What capacity could you fill every home game? I'd have thought it up near 80k at least?
Certainly 60k isn't anywhere near a limit where you'll have unsold tickets?

I would also have thought that Hospitality would have been more likely to suffer from lack of demand if long term form was a problem? (which it clearly isn't currently not trying to upset anyone).

I'd be insulted if I was a LPool fan that they mentioned it was the tickets ... it is £2m a year. Absolutely nothing in football terms nowadays. Two Trevor Francises ...

Surely this is where these 'marketing experts' should be earning their money - getting the tiers of pricing right for particular games - or doesn't it work like that - can you buy hospitality for ONE game?

The stupid thing is that they've oversupplied the corporate tickets and so are only going to butcher those prices if they want to sell them!

They will fill the corps soon. It will just take a little while to get people used to spending that sort of money

I would have considered them for me and my day but they were just a bit too much.
