The Sturridge dive was funny

I tell you what you wouldn't be buying pogba ahead of joe allen would you...the more i watch him the more you realise just how much Juve have had Uniteds pants down..
And Mourinho looks in his face like he did at Chelsea last year.

Let's not get too carried away, a draw would do.

I can't see City winning today.. Either a Spurs win or a draw me thinks.

I prefer the 2-0 win! hehe

It also shows just how well we played at Spurs!

They've had an easy start to the season too. Imagine if they'd had our start!!

Might have to change my mind about where we will finish in the league soon, wink Not so much from the way we played against some of the top clubs, but from results like today. It's a game we'd probably have lost previously, but good to see the team recover to play well, even if it was a bit later than ideal!

Predictions for today?

Swansea will be quite a tough game I reckon as despite their league position they have played well this season.

I will go 1-2.
No one picked up on this? I presume you meant 2-1 to us? If so what are the lottery numbers?

We were away so 1-2 is correct

Haha.

On a separate note, did we get rid of the wrong striker!? One hasn't scored in 7 league games but this one has 5 (FIVE) already...

Balotelli and Benteke - top strikers who know where the goal is.
If you look at Ibrahimovic he is obvious top quality but I just don't think he would work out for us.

It just doesn't work unless you build the attack around their style.

It's early days but City, Tottenham and LFC are playing a different brand of football. In our case we have no left back, no defensive midfielder and although we are scoring enough goals our striker hasn't scored this season (spending most of the time on the bench)

Sturridge hasn't played much football and very little consistent football. I'm sure he'll get better if he can stay injury free.

Thought we saw our best line up in the second half on Saturday with a front 3 of Firmino Sturridge and Mane with Coutinho playing ahead of Can and Henderson. Really looking forward to seeing how this front 6 develop.
