As Sye says, French league and he now has a team built around him. He's had some well taken goals though - glad things are working out for him finally. Let's hope he can keep it up for the rest of the season.

In other news, Ings scored a hat trick for the U23s today.

EDIT: Balotelli also picked up two yellow cards and was sent off.

Iago Aspas has just scored against Barcelona, Celta Vigo are currently 3-0 up!!

Dirk Kuyt's Feyenoord are the only team in the top 25 leagues to still have a perfect record this season.

Thought we saw our best line up in the second half on Saturday with a front 3 of Firmino Sturridge and Mane with Coutinho playing ahead of Can and Henderson. Really looking forward to seeing how this front 6 develop.
Can't see lallana being dropped from the middle 3, in fact he could well be the proverbial "first name on the teamsheet" for Klopp. For me coutinho isn't fit/strong enough to consistently play in that middle 3, more likely to see him being part of the front 3. Will certainly be interesting to see what klopp does if lallana's out for a few games. At least we now have decent strength in depth for the front 6....

For me Lallana and Firmino have been our most consistent players so far this season.. They are both typical Klopp players.. I worry about injury for them more so than Coutihno and Mane.. We look blessed at the moment but an injury or two could have us in trouble.. Ie Clyne /Milner getting injured, Really hope Lallana is fit for the Man U game, Really love this guy now he has really turned his game around.

Shame.

UTD seemed to do this a lot for their players in the 90s, if I remember correctly.

Really?!! Jesus. I hope he pulls through ok.

40 is no age for a potential life changing condition like that, Jesus Christ.

As usual I am late.

Good result on Saturday, I think Karius was poor and I cannot see what Mings has done wrong to be dropped?!

A good week for us last week, really enjoyed MNF with Klopp giving some insight into how he views the team and hat they should be doing!

Sad about Song!!

Karius never seems to want to come off his line for high balls in, which is a bit of an odd one. Plenty of room for improvement I think.

Indeed and he is very young.....I think its good just to have Competition tbh.
He is more comfortable with the ball at his feet that is for sure so I am wandering if we are seeing a bit of the City situation here too,
I certainly wont be writing him off after 2 games anyway, before I even saw him play I expected a few mistakes as he is young and coming to a very tough league without a lot of high balls.. if you are not used to that you cant become an expert in them over night.. Plus he is bound to be nervous as hell still

Really sad. Stroke is often thought of as an old person's disease but it happens to young people too. Hopefully he can make a full recovery.

Karius is no different to Mignolet - both seem to flap when crosses come in. Tough to call who should be no.1 really but Karius hasn't really been tested yet in any of the games he has played in so far - it is easier to recall his few blunders than any spectacular saves he has been forced to make.

Really showed resilience and determination to come back on Saturday. Yes we don't have a leader on the pitch but we do have one off it and it was good to see the players respond to Klopp's half-time team talk. Without wishing to bash Henderson too much(!) - he has been playing really well and he did set-up Firmino's goal with a cute pass back into the box - but he was once again ball watching for Swansea's goal. Did not track back Leroy Fer for the full duration of the corner and was completely out of position, looking at the ball rather than who he should have been marking. It is not the first game this season that it's happened, Oxlade-Chamberlain kind of just strolled past him for his goal IIRC. He needs to be tighter and more commanding in the box - hopefully that will come as the season goes on.

You lot were the nail in the coffin of our manager...who incidentally has been treated despicably by my awful club.

Despite how we played well against you on Saturday, I am struggling to support the club at the moment.

He's gone? Thought you were only a game or 2 away from a recovery myself. Though I always thought it was going to be a long season following the sale of Ash.
