All the so-called football pundits were still backing City to win the title last week. Chelsea winning 2-1 currently and looking very good...

I have no idea why anyone is suggesting any team other than Chelsea as title favourites - I suppose that'll change now!

Bournemouth away won't be any pushover so if Chelsea put City down, that's not a bad thing. A win tomorrow could keep us on Chelsea's tail and 3 pts up on City.

City completely lost the plot just now; two sendings off, a brawl, Guardiola staring at the Chelsea bench after the 3rd goal... doesnt look like a happy camp! It will be amazing to see how the so-called football pundits will now all suddenly change their tune!

Aguero to face a 4-match ban for his sending off which means he will miss the Arsenal game but guess what... he will be back just in time for the New Years Eve clash!

Bournemouth will be tough game, even if Lallana manages to start. I'd take a draw right about now.

Wouldn't be surprised if Aguero gets more than 4 matches, especially considering he has previous with Luiz.

We need to keep up with Chelsea. Stay within a point and get come January hopefully we'll have some clear ground from the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and City.

Joel Matip has been ruled out of Liverpool's Premier League clash at Bournemouth with a minor ankle injury.

Liverpool: Karius, Clyne, Lucas, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Firmino, Mane, Origi.

Subs: Mignolet, Lallana, Klavan, Woodburn, Moreno, Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria.

That bench is looking a little threadbare. Still a strong enough line up for the win I think.

At the risk of sounding on on repeat it's a season defining game - quite a few important injuries and most of our big rivals had big wins yesterday, so need to keep the wins ticking over!

Hopefully Bournemouth, being a team that plays footy, will suit our style a bit (assuming we're on top form). Won't be easy but I'd rather play a footy playing team than a parked bus.

Season defining indeed. Star attacker out, star defender out and our best central midfielder only making the bench.

Firmino moved out wide and work on progress Origi has his chance to prove himself at this level and misses a sitter.

Looking bright so far. Origi should have put that away.

Nice goal by Mane. Justifying and capitalising early on the pressure.

Goalie at fault for that I think. Still, nice one for Mane smile

That was one sweet finish. Origi can really strike a ball when he's on form.

Two great goals in quick succession. Would be nice to have a big win and another clean sheet today!
