Dare I say it, we need a third goal. Bournemouth slowly growing into the game. One goal for them and it will be a completely different game.

I don't think that was a penalty. Yes there was contact, a knock of knees, not enough for him to throw himself to the ground. Real soft penalty if it had been given.

Perhaps Can's goal can finally put to bed the "season defining". This season's team would appear to have far more backbone and composure than most of our squads from the last few years. And they've been showing it over the last few weeks.

Also nice to see that we can still play good pressing football, creating chances without the likes of Coutinho and Lallana, arguably our best two forward players this season. Just need to cut out silly mistakes at the back. That penalty came from nothing, like many of the goals we have conceded this season.

Still we definitely are in with a shout this season.
