I take it all back. Its no coincidence that Matip is out today. As soon as he's out - we go to pot at the back. All Karius ever seems to do is take the ball out of the net.
I take that back too - Karius has done something.

We ain't winning this today, are we. I hope Matip isn't out for long.

Rather play Lucas and be vulnerable than play Sakho and be more secure......

It feels like we are blowing the title already.

Thought we'd got past pissing away 2 goal leads.
But obviously not.

This feels like that Palace 4-3 game from 1990! frown

Karius is a liability. Plain and simple.

Comedy.

A game we should have put away in the 1st half. Ridiculous.

Not for one second have I thought we were in for it this season. We're improving hugely but don't get carried away. There are other teams winning games and playing well in the Prem, not just us. And some with better players on paper too.

Oh dear. Oh bloody dear... Wasn't expecting that. Not until the last 20 mins anyway.

Anyone else think Karius is no better than Mignolet?

Will repeat myself from last page, keepers of that quality don't win titles.

Yeah, I think Karius has made 2 or 3 decent saves in all the time he's been in the team. He offers very little.

Karius does look st it has to be said, but you lot can score but you just can't defend, simple as that.

Other than our defensive vulnerability I'm disappointed with mane. So many times first half he had space and he just fafs about. Drive at them Saido. We should have been out of sight.

A salutary reminder that we can't take the foot of the pedal at any stage during a match - we just aren't solid enough without the press being constant.

The season isn't defined at this stage, but it does show that the old weaknesses aren't so far beneath the surface.
