The Official Liverpool FC Thread [Vol 11]
Discussion
Amazing isn't it.
A poster hides behind a selective memory in order to lie to everyone. Everyone knows he's lying. A few posters tell him so and provide proof.
It's not bullying, it's just not pandering to someone and letting them know you haven't fallen for their nonsense.
Simple as that.

I wasn't involved in the initial fallout after the Bournemouth game, so i agree with you. Moving on would be best, but you know Red Trident will come back and refute it all, which will lead to posters responding that they still aren't falling for it.
Hence my agreement that being able to block a poster would be a huge advance. The forums would almost self moderate with the ability to not even see posts from people you have no wish to interact with.
But as mentioned above, it's not the work of a moment, so I doubt Haymarket will listen.

On Reddit RT would just be downvoted into oblivion and no one would get to see his posts. Good luck expecting Haymarket to actually do anything to these forums however, there are things are have been "in the works" for years which still haven't seen the light of day. PH is the forum equivalent of a Nokia, never dies but never changes. But as mentioned above, it's not the work of a moment, so I doubt Haymarket will listen.
Having flicked through many a thread on PH in the various sections where I would expect to see arguing amongst the contributors I stumble across the worst of all here in the football section. And I've read nearly the entire Climate Change thread where opinions are diametrically opposed on the subject of the thread. Here everyone loves the thread subject. Astonishing.

Passionate supporters with differing views, not that surprising! ferrisbueller said:
If a poster denies what has been said previously, I don't see why posting what they had posted falls into that category. If it is, I'm happy to be banned as such.
ETA. Congrats on coordinating your posting. It's like Dad's Army.
I'm assuming Blib would be Godfrey .ETA. Congrats on coordinating your posting. It's like Dad's Army.

Dont judge us when Red Trident is being vociferous. He rankles with most posters. Was really good in here before the Bournemouth game. Lots of jokes about Lego, landmines and season defining sea urchins.

Quite agree, on all pointsHence my agreement that being able to block a poster would be a huge advance. The forums would almost self moderate with the ability to not even see posts from people you have no wish to interact with.

Block a poster? You're kidding ... cos the majority don't like his views? You all rise to RT every time ... you lot deserve each other frankly. This is the busiest footy thread and always good reading, but you take it all too seriously sometimes (esp after one self-inflicted loss). Just enjoy and go laugh at the mid-table lot also in red.
