Lots of issues on and off the pitch. Expensive squad not performing, club politics, 15 managers in 15 seasons.

Fair play to him taking over but doomed to fail from the off.

Not a very good start, however I predict he will become a very good manager (if this hasn't put him off)..knows the game inside out and has seen and done it all.

Can't be long till he is gone now, another loss and no wins in the league is a poor return.

I was at the Barcelona game and, to be fair, Barca were absolutely unplayable. It was like watching a different sport to Premier League footy! I had a meeting with a Valencia fan the next day and he said they were bemused how he'd ever even been considered for the job (other than his link to the owner).

I think 15 managers in 15 seasons has not helped.

+ the fact he has no experience as a manager, let alone in Spain and doesn't speak any Spanish doesn't help either.....

It was a very strange choice from the off.

Imagine the reverse...some Spanish footballer now pundit being taken out of his TV job and dropped straight into managing a Top 6 L side with no management experience. We'd all be on his side wouldn't we......

From his point of view he'd be better off getting sacked now so he can blame them for being trigger happy rather than have this continue till the end of the season.

If he was one of the most successful footballers and also the assistant Manager of Spain we wouldn't be getting too worked up about him.

Lose this weekend and he'll be home sooner rather than later.

He should never have been given the job in the first place and should be nowhere near the England team. Analysing a game on Sky is a world away from managing a team. Many in the game will be having a good chuckle at the moment.

Unfortunately Mr Neville is not the Assistant Coach of a team that has won the last two European Championships and the 2010 World Cup.

However, the man who is in charge of a wonderfully talented bunch of players who won that tin also received the Spanish Archer because he only won the CL and not La Liga in the same season.

As much as it pains me to defend him, hiding to nothing. Valencia is a metric fk tonne of pain to anyone!

A 6-0 scoreline this evening won't do much harm, but guessing the opposition weren't performing at their best!?

Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has been sacked by Valencia after less than four months in charge.
