The 92 Premier and Football League grounds
Discussion
Another quick update.
Chelsea today promised a signed ball and with a mate who's an ex-Chelsea first teamer giving me the contact's name, I reckon that will make good money. They've also said we can go pitchside for a picture too. Also, Notts County along with MK Dons, Peterborough and Rochdale have promised shirts. I've also got a shirt from Palmers FC, the YouTubers that regularly get 75k views on their Sunday League games. Hoping to take in their game that weekend, depending on where they are playing.
90% sure the car will be a Fiat 500X (must admit, I panicked when I heard th 500 bit ) but it's a sport utility vehicle apparently. Picking the car up from Yeovil Town on Wednesday 5th April, three days before we leave. One of the under-23 games we're going to is Leicester v Man United which will now be played at the King Power Stadium, another new stadium for me. Hoping to make an appearance on the pitch for the final game of the 92, Exeter City v Morecambe to get a signed shirt and/or football.

Great day today.
Had a contact at Hull City who was then released by Marco Silva when he took over. Thought I'd lost our signed item but fair play, they're giving us a signed shirt and letting us in pitchside for a photo.
Wigan don't support non-local charities but when they heard we would be at the game on the day we were there, they're organising us free tickets for the game in return for writing a piece for their programme.
And Fleetwood Town have donated a signed pennant and a Northampton Town player is giving us a set of his signed boots.

More updates...
Signed photo from Arsenal, signed shirts from Doncaster and Wigan (via ex-Yeovil players I know), a signed pair of boots from another ex-Glover and a pennant from West Brom. Two match tickets from Sheffield United and something signed from Wolves.
Then, a courier turned up yesterday with a bulging envelope (not a euphemism!) and out popped a signed Everton shirt, didn't even know it was coming...
Maplins have given us a £50 gift card towards anything that will help us along (was going to be a sat nav but the car's got one built in). Huddersfield look like they might give us free tickets for the game that day plus interview us in the hospitality suite before the game. Think I might enjoy this you know...

This might well be the last update before we leave in precisely 36 hours time so here goes....
Latest signed items - Norwich City signed pennant, a signed Nottingham Forest shirt and ball courtesy of an ex-YTFC player there, signed shirts from Newport County and Ipswich Town (the latter, thanks to Russell Osman), some signed posters from Sunderland and a Man City programme autographed by Leroy Sane.
Picked up the car today - it's a 66 plate Fiat 500X (never has the letter X been so important :hehe ). Guy who's sponsoring me that plus the fuel has thrown in about £30 of shopping too, snacks to munch on the way round. Mate gave me 60 bottles of water tonight as well.... got over £300 in normal sponsorship too now.
Tomorrow is a tidying up loose ends day, packing our cases and getting ready to go. Thanks to everyone who has helped, particularly N_Const and Oxford Drinker who have been superb. Looking forward now to 3,000 miles, 98 football grounds, 12 matches and many memories to last forever.

Two days down, a brief update!
Started in Yeovil yesterday, have now reached Cambridge for the night. 12 grounds done, 80 more to go. Highlights so far have been two brilliant security folk who let us in to Ipswich and Bournemouth; the guys from Palmers FC signing a shirt for us, giving my lads a cup winners medal and armband as a souvenir and sampling a decent atmosphere at Fratton Park yesterday.
Downsides were the traffic going into Southend today and Yeovils performance yesterday v Portsmouth.
ETA - I was so disappointed, forgot to spell Protsmouth right.

Just got home, though we still have eight clubs in two days to complete. The plan was always to stop at home (Bristol) the last two nights so as not to incur more hotel charges.
First of all, can I apologise to anyone we said we were going to meet on the way round? It's been hard to stick to the schedule so my apologies to BCM and Twig in particular. Sorry guys, London days were so hectic I didn't get a chance to message you. That said, I did meet up with Oxford Drinker at the WBA v Liverpool game, great to meet you mate.
A very brief summary as I'm off to bed now, shattered!
Arsenal - brilliant. Promised us a signed photo, when we went pitchside for a picture, the guy took us around on an unofficial tour of dressing rooms, press rooms, physio room, directors box, dugouts, the whole lot free of charge.
Huddersfield - superb. Got us three VIP tickets for the Preston match. Met Mark Lawrenson and Alan Kennedy in the suite beforehand, got me up on stage for a q & a pre-match, great seats and a 90+7 min winner for the home side.
Newcastle - fantastic. Considering one of the charities we are raising money for is the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, you could say "Well, they should help!". But bearing in mind that them and Ipswich are inundated with requests, they can't fulfil all of them. When we got there, we were allowed pitch side for a pic then they'd arranged Peter Beardsley to come and meet us for a pic. Then, as we left, they gave us a goodie bag including four copies of Sir Bobby's autobiography, all signed by Sir Bobby's widow Lady Elsie and three of them personalised to us.
Wigan - wonderful. Couldn't donate anything as we don't fit their charity criteria but gave the boys and I full press access plus tickets for their match v Barnsley. Access to the mix zone, pitch side etc and we saw them come from 2-0 down to win 3-2, ex Man United player Nick Powell scoring an 11 minute hat trick.
Chelsea - gave us a signed football, sent it while we were away but gave us a mini tour this morning and let us go pitch side too.
Spurs - couldn't donate anything as per Wigan but offered us free tickets for the Ladies game last night v West Ham at White Hart Lane.
So many others have made me believe there are a lot of good people at football clubs. Giving up 15-20 minutes of their day to let three Yeovil Town fans look around, we aren't likely to ever come back to these places but still they put themselves out....
Fleetwood guy gave us the full tour and a signed pennant.
The guys from Palmers FC (go look them up) signing a shirt for my lads who are massive fans.
The ex-Yeovil players who have taken time to meet us, some coming in on their days off to do so.
The Grimsby manager (ex-Yeovil) who interrupted his own press conference to sign my copy of my book and wish us well.
I could go on but I promised this would be a brief summary. Two days, eight clubs to go.

An England signed shirt is now up for grabs and finishes at 9.30pm tonight on eBay. Signed by 15 players, 12 of which I'[ve identified as Joe Hart, Jamie Vardy, Kyle Walker, Tom Heaton, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Lallana, Chris Smalling, James Milner, Dele Alli, Phil Jones, Michael Keane, Nathan Redmond, Jermain Defoe and Eric Dier. There are three or four other unidentified signatures on there too.
My website is on my profile, follow there to Auctions, then the England shirt if you want to bid.
