I do find Italy very easy to get behind.

Spain are fking boring. It might be technically excellent but it's just so joyless to watch.
Seriously?
Two European Championships and a World Cup?
I'd admit that right now Spain lack something but the display against Italy in the last European Championship was breathtaking at times.
Who will ever know how good the World Cup Final might have been if the Dutch had turned up to play football.
Don't begrudge, the Spain team of the last 10 years at its best is worthy of mention with any team of any era.
Completely serious. I'm not saying it isn't technically excellent, it just bores the tits off me personally watching it.
Same here. Barcelona are/were the same, bored me to death most of the time.

It's because of the arrogance of your media. All morning I was listening to talk of how you'd get on against France in the next round. It even happened during half time, they were losing and the host on ITV asked "should Joe Hart be dropped against France?" You were bigging yourselves up when the majority of us couldn't see it, you've been garbage all tournament.
This!

I'm in Lille on Friday. Can't wait. Whatever happens I'll be immensely proud of my team and they will receive a standing ovation from us at the end of the game.

We'll probably lose. I can't see us going 4 games unbeaten against Belgium. I hope we make a good go of it though and play better than we did against England and N.I
Hi Phil , you got tickets for the game ? We're going over Friday morning and staying in a lovely house just 10 mins outside Lille.

What are the predictions for the quarters?

  • Poland v Portugal
  • Belgium v Wales
  • Italy v Germany
  • Iceland v France
Poland (Portugal haven't played well all tournament, their luck will run out)
Wales (We are a bit of a bogey team for them, they have been hit and miss, Coleman knows how to set-up agaisnt them)
Italy (Germany aren't as clinical as they usually are and they will play into Italy's hands)
Iceland (Similar game to the England one, i'm not confident the French can defend set-plays)

It's going to be a Wales v Italy final which Italy will win.

Bale wins the golden boot.

Am I missing something, or is tonight's game not being shown on TV?

Yeah I've had tickets for all the games so far and will have a final ticket if (big if!) we get there. It's been an incredible journey for us, I've been following Wales home and away since Bobby Ghould and there have been times when I thought we'd never qualify for anything. So to be 3 days away from a QF in a major tournament is quite frankly mind blowing!

Really please for you mate. Still disappointed out how poor England were but will be rooting for your boys. I do fancy Belgium for the win TBH as with Hazard hitting form and De-Bruyne doing his thing they have the 2 world class players capable of pulling any team apart on their day. There is certainly a lot resting on Bale's shoulders.

I want Wales to get as far as they can now ... they know how to play against Belgium and hopefully aren't overawed. I think they thought they weren't as good as England (who were terrible) and defended far too deep in that games, especially after the equaliser.

I'd love to see them win ... but it'll be tough.

I just hope Wales go out there and enjoy the moment. Play with no pressure, leave nothing in the tank and what will be will be smile

Sorry but I can no longer support the Welsh football team in this tournament.

As an Englishman I found the Wales team celebrations - captured on video - at our loss to Iceland to be really quite offensive.

I will now be hoping Belgium put them out whereas prior to seeing that video I would have backed the Welsh.

That video just showed the mentality of that nation & their hatred towards the English.
Some of them players should remember where they play their football as I am sure the Welsh leagues can't offer them 20/30k per week!

Banter lads, just banter wink

In seriousness, I did find it bad, I found it worse that it was actually leaked though - damaged a lot of reputations that frown

But like people have said about Joe Hart swearing in the tunnel - - - - - They should ALL set an example rather than come across as little boys.

You're offended by this? That's pretty lame.
