Back home, drinking whiskey and wondering the same.

He appeared to have learnt nothing from the last cittee battering (or the arse one, or the manure one etc).

We had no leadership again, no pressing off the ball, poor in possession and defensive mistakes again that lead to three of the goals.

Mistake to start Fonte who's not played. Mistake to play Byram who's Championship at best. Creswell's badly out of form and has been for a while so need cover there, which we haven't got. Noble tries but i think this seasons caught up with him.

Conceeded more than 3 goals 9! times this season. Not come back from go going a goal down once so far.

That being said cittee were at least two leagues better than us and didn't need to play at more than 60% to whip us again.

Depressing, tedious st.

Edited to add - we lost 5-0 with child27 so maybe things are looking up (nicked that from twitter)

Well it's the morning after and I don't feel any better about yesterday's performance. Why did we give City so much space? When we had the ball they were in our faces but seemed to just let them get on with it.

We had Collins on the bench, he should have played imo.

I keep saying he's tactically inept, especially against the ball playing teams.
We have two defensively poor fullbacks, and should be playing two recognised DM's because of it. But he doesn't,and we end up being pulled apart, give them acres of space, get run at and passed round like statues.

Agree, it was a pathetic & inept performance. At 3-0 I did think about fking off as we weren't going to get back into the game, although that would have been the same at 1-0.

Collins should defo have started, doubt that the outcome would have been any different.

To cap a ste evening the tossers at TFL have overcharged my Oyster card again.
