That sums up Spurs better than I ever could. You judge your season by your results against us but forget the bigger picture. If you'd taken care of your own st, like Uber, and not drawn so many games you'd be challenging instead of perpetual also rans.sjc said:

Some of our on field tactics and decision making beggar belief.Taking two yard free kicks halfway in their half with Carroll waiting on the box, that then get pressured all the way back to our keeper, the absolute refusal to change tactics and go long with someone off Carroll when all else fails being another.Seriously... What was Fernandez going to do to change the game ? There is zero thinking outside the box from SB. At halftime, I'd have hooked Feghouoli, gone to a flat back four with Byram on at right back, which would release Cheik into midfield with Snod and Lanzini either side of him.Chelsea have the ball away several times second half but we wasted the chance to break every time.

I just see the same mistakes being made game after game after game at home with nothing seemingly done to remedy.
Whoever's coaching back passes from attacking positions into the players needs to sacked asap.
Agree that in game tactics and decisions were appalling tonight, squad depth a major issue but as we only shop for budget it's not a surprise.

It's not just your lot, this insistence on knocking he ball around aimlessly 30 times bores me to tears. I was watching Citeh on Sunday, god, the knocking about at the back ....Stone passes it to some guy who is pressured and he (Stones) runs like a robot back and across into space to get the ball, so the guy knocks it to him and he moves, then the ball gets halfway in their half, and three moves later it's back with Stones again ...
PASS IT FORWARD FFS!
I've seen teams get a throw-in closer to the corner flag than the halfway line, and five seconds later, their keeper has it, christ.

Bad luck last night chaps, they just seem to have too much for all of us sadly. That's what money does.

I know, you're bloody useless.If we got a 60k capacity stadium gifted to us we could use the revenue for the couple of big signings needed to bridge the gap. Or buy Snodgrass.
