Tore and Zaza shouldn't be allowed with a mile of Stratford, let alone the first team. Antonio continues to frustrate me at times and why do we so often have possession at the edge of the final third and then 5 seconds later, the ball is back with Adrian or pinging back an forth between Reid and Collins (who I thought was good today)?

I think we all know what Ogbonna will be practising this week in training rolleyes

Payet will get the plaudits and rightly so - I'll remember that goal for a long long time and he deserved it after being continually fouled for the who game.

Overall, I thought we were more solid but there's still a lot of work to do - hopefully the break will give Cresswell a chance to get fitter.

Hope Byram is ok.

Byram = hamstring, off within 5 mins.

Agree on Tore. Appalling, hopefully being hauled off at HT might be last we see of him for a while.

Reid looked back to himself, which was good.

Now I'm not standing in the rain and have eaten a curry my mood's improved.

Obiang was very good and ought to be a starter. Kouyate - where have the runs gone?

Payet fouled continually, thought first smack he got might have been serious.

Pissed northerners using plastic tarps as trampolines after they scored was funny.

Don't really know what to make of that, as Boro showed so little ambition it's tough to make a call.We were much tighter, but very narrow, and didn't test the keeper at all, created nothing( ok we hit the bar once from 20 yards)I'm shocked at how poor Tore is, looks like the kid who plays cos his dad is the manager.....
At fuvking last, he's put Obiang in, and the others have been shown what a proper DM is.Positionally brilliant, breaks up play, then gives his 5 yard pass....no fuss, no drama, job done time and time again. It won't be long before Nobes doesn't start, he's being hauled off earlier and earlier, and yesterday slowed an attack down several times with his lack of being able to pass with his left foot, so had to stop, turn and go the other way again.
Thought Boro did well immediately after we scored, kept the ball, few fouls to break up the play etc.
Payets goal .... Just genius, and on top of that he was far more involved all round, good signs.Nothing created by others though, and the shooting from 40 yards from Tore,Zaza and Ant was kids mentality.
Another poor poor goal to give away, and alas it started from Payet diving to get a free kick that wasn't given, Adrian being reluctant to come from his line early on the resulting break, and Ant being asleep at the follow up corner.

The main thing for me though was the atmosphere, much much better this week, from ko all the way through .

Kouyata, Noble and some others are shadows of what they were last season. It seems such a short time since we were calling for an England call up for Noble. Add to that I haven't been particularly impressed with any of the new signings, why does Zaza even get a start?

There is already press talk about replacing Bilic.

There were a couple of times yesterday when a Boro player more or less jogged past Noble with the ball and he couldn't get anywhere near it :-( It happened against Southampton as well.

I think he needs a couple of games on the bench - he's out of sorts and is half the player he was last season.

Agree. He's started every game this season inc the far-away pointless friendlies and the pathetic Euro campaign.

Was trying on sat but was off the pace and it showed badly. Shame.

New signings have all been utter st so guess that's why Slav's forced to stick with bulk of last seasons team.

Dave's will need to spend big at Xmas. Better get flogging some festive plastic cocks.

I think and hope that you're right. Mind you who was responsible for buying such a bunch of at best average squad players?

Bulk bought on assumption that the Euro campaign would've progressed to Group Stage - which it should have.

Suspect direct choices though were Slav for Toure, several as joint/necessities (defenders and Zaza) remainder as Dave's saw value.

Did they turn the lights on too ?

They looked pretty puffed out with the run from the tunnel onto the pitch.

Surely they will get nicked for this unless it's just a publicity thing.
