I think to get to be a PL ref, you need to have gone thru so many levels, and reffed so many matches, that I don't think you get up to that level by bottling decisions.

The time to bottle it is on Hackney marshes, when showing a red is likely to get your face smashed in!

How do you know he bottled it? Maybe at a glance it didn't look that bad. Having seen 9 replays from 9 different angles, of course it was a yellow...at least. But in real time when I was watching, I thought it was something and nothing.

You don't know he bottled it, maybe he just got it wrong.
If somebody showed you a black piece of wood you would argue vociferously that it was white.

And yours is an opinion that just about every pundit and referee today disagrees with saying he should have been off, still have it your way Wonderkid rolleyes

Normally the football threads on Pistonheads are lighthearted and one of the few places without rudeness and insults - unlife GG, F1 etc. etc.. Supporters of different teams that visit other teams' threads usually even join in the banter. Then there's you... I assume you're special.

Ignore, Chelsea fan that doesn't even support his own team half the time, could start an argument in an empty phone box.

Interested to see how infrastructure round the stadium holds up on Sunday given the shopping centre

But it would be the telephone box that was wrong.

That' true as well.
But it's nice to know I can now go to a match in flip flops without risk of swapping them for flippers when I want a waz !

Interesting, I wonder if they made changes after the NK Domzal game?

Getting back to the tube station was a nightmare that thursday.

We cut though the Carpenters estate and into the station from the other side, its maybe a 5 min longer walk normally, but avoided all the congestion at Westfield.
