We went from shooting from 40 yards against Middlesborough, to trying to walk it in like a poor mans Arsenal ......and then .... We shoot .... And score ....

So another win but I doubt that was enough to frighten Chelski.
Never mind, a win is a win. That's 2 on the trot so hopefully the players will start to feel more relaxed and confident. Takes the heat off Slav as well, who, I hope, is our manager for years and years and years. I honestly can't think of anyone more suited to the job. We'll have our wobbles and classic farces, we are WH after all, but we need to stick with him. All IMO of course.

COYI.

Predictably on MTOD the focus was on Reid's goal, pleased they showed that it was not off-side, I do find Moyes whinges a bit. However, I was amazed nothing was said about the blatant bodycheck on Reid in the box during the 1st half. Not just a bit of shirt pulling but the Sunderland defender got hold of him round the waist with both arms and dragged him down (twice I think), no penalty though laugh

Same old, same old Rich; WH rarely get pens.

Wins a win & Reid took his chance beautifully. Only scores big goals that bloke.

Was impressed with the Swiss kid filling in at LB, looked very promising.

Payet on the Ballon d'Or (sp?), while WH have had a player nominated - probably last time was Moore in '70 (finished runner up).

Didn't Lolton ever get a mention? Or am I thinking of the Bucket de Merde?

He's a free agent at the moment... Reckon he could do a better job than our current strikers.

I think Moore, Hurst, Peters and now Payet are the only WH players to have been nominated.

Had a quick look but couldn't find a 'nominees' list, presumably Hurst & Peters (and Moore) must've all been in '66 and Bobby again in '70.

Wonder if any of Lampard, Rio, J Cole etc ever made it?

Sadly yes. There will always be boneheaded morons who follow football, I only wish they would all fk off and kick seven bells out of each other in some deserted car park, then die. I'm sure it could be arranged!
