He probably has a better view of the pitch from Iceland.
Let's hope he stays there.

To be fair to the Egg, he would know when something unfit for football appears. He sees one every day when he looks in the mirror.
For me it speaks volumes that he voices his opinion but has apparently never been to the new stadium.
He probably has a better view of the pitch from Iceland.
There isn't one in Westfield.

Aye, he was terrible for both Wham and Football itself. Fortunately you've come through it, it could easily have gone the other way.

Yes, I'm not too hopeful. I also doubt I'll remember much from the match due to the late ko drunk

I'm worried we'll never see him play for us again. Such a shame as he is a real talent. We seem a bit cursed with English strikers.

Indeed, sad but somehow to me he didn't generate the same degree of excitement as the potential of Dean Ashton.

Chairman mentioned not rushing him back so probably 2018.

Be odd to see Sakho back. Think he's been out for approx. 9 months.

Sadly not expecting much from them weekend but avoiding a spanking would be start.

Remember being at the game when Ashton was presented to the crowd following his signing, sure that he came on with a crutch or bandaged up - sums up our striker history really.

Shame about him though as I thought he was quality. Boring as fk on twitter, only ever talks about golf. Makes a decent pundit though.

He loves his golf, I went with my boss to a golf day with him in September.

I had to stop following him as he went on about it so much. Speaks well on TalkSport though.

Here's a bit of fun then. Name me one marquee striker we have signed since as long as you can remember that's come good. I grew up watching Geoff Hurst, after that there was Peter Eustace, who was ok, Jimmy Greaves who was rubbish! We've signed Ian Wright, heaven help us, Roger Cross, Ian Dowie... About the only one I can remember was Frank Mcavennie. So who was the last decent striker we had?
