Can't fault the effort there at all.
But why the the bloody commentators went on and on about our next four fixtures as if they're gimmes is ridiculous.... don't they know this is West Ham??!!

Surprisingly our record vs Liverpool (home & away, in all comps) isn't that bad over the last five years - had a quick look on 11v11.

The preceding 95 odd years of results were abysmal.

I listened to the radio in the car - Five Live called it a draw about 25 mins from the end rolleyes

It was bizarre - Alan Green's seen plenty of West Ham over the years to know how quickly we can embrace a defeat from a lead.

They were quite positive re WH overall though.

I'll watch MOTD for the first time in a while later.

Nice watching it down the pub with a pint on sunday, me and son Rumbly were making more noise than the diners would like. Good to walk home with a smile.

Not sure how many here will remember Peter Brabrook. He was one of the best.

I remember Peter Brabrook as a fast and very effective winger.

When I last saw him after he finished at WH he was playing for Romford and had grown a sizeable beer belly. He was still effective but no longer fast.

Only 62 11/12ths, used to live in Green Street, and I worked next door in the telephone exchange, could look out the window and see in the ground.

biggrin

So, AC to start tonight maybe w/ Antonio back in MF; Ayew dropped to bench? Other than that I'd stick w/ Sundays line-up.

Sounds good to me, I am sure Andy Carroll causes mayhem in defenses just by being there. Plus of course he does score goals.

If it was a punch on the leg I'd have believed you. Or maybe a hair-pull...
