Was a good performance but let's not get carried away - Palace showed very little ambition and would have been delighted with a 0-0 draw I think.
That said, Lanzini stepped up to the mark and we could look to build a team round him. Carroll looked far more interested than he did against Man City and even Nobes had a good game. Cresswell looked a lot better and it was nice to see Byram back.
I had Feghouli to score the first in the 52nd minute - he was quarter of an hour late lol
Carrolls goal was simply brilliant - I was on my feet cheering as it left his boot and Lanzini's was delightful.
Makes a nice change to leave the ground with a smile on my face and I can actually look forward to MOTD tonight
Great to hear the crowd get behind the team and Slav as well - he gave Lanzini & Antonio a massive hug each as they came off the pitch when they were substituted.
Quite fancy Southampton away now......

Wow, wasn't expecting that, especially after a drab first half. Completely different second 45 and gave palace, who looked ste, a good spanking.
AC's goal was something else, belting finish. Quality from Lanzini as well. As pincher says, makes a change to leave with a smile.
