How many people would like to change their vote? I'm guessing around 42%....

Who will win the 2016-17 PL title?

It's (almost) as obvious as Bayern winning the Bundesliga title; Manchester City of course.

Err, the 2016-17 PL title is awarded on this season, not last season.

And I'm seeing a completely different City than the one last season.

I'm guessing the teams voted for are an indication of the percentage of each fan based we have on the forum rather than a realistic indication of who'll actually win the title biggrin

City have always had the quality to win but were always inconsistent under Pelegrini.
They won't lose against the lesser teams under Pep.

have to say Man city look like a force this season, but its all a ploy from Claudio to lure you into a false sense of security that we are no longer title contenders and rubbish once again wink

City won their first 5 last season and finished 4th. There was talk of them romping away with the title.

New Years day is the first table that tells us anything.

Yup, they really do look a completely different team already under Pep.

Early days yet, but with his track record, and the players at his disposal, I'm not inclined to think they will have much of a drop off in form that they have shown in the past.

I'm staying with my prediction that they'll win the PL, I hope not run away with it, but there is a fear they might and the bun-fight will be the close fought 'best of the rest' contest between Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and possibly Everton for 2nd to 6th.

Track record? Has he got a track record other than managing the absolute best team in its respective league, a league that doesn't contain much in the way of other credible alternative winners? Two horse race leagues at very best.

I think City are favourites too, but its too early to tell whether they are suddenly unbeatable under Pep.

As a long time City fan it'll be sometime in late April that I'll be able to make a prediction that'll we'll win the league.

I'm not a City fan, but I would put money on them winning. This Pep character sure knows his st.

So, up to last year and excluding Leicester's winning the PL, remind me how many teams have won it since Arsenal last won it in 03/04....?

The PL is hardly much more than a two horse race league either in reality, given Athletico under Simeone has made the Spanish league closer to a 3 horse race in recent years.

Since it started in '92, it pains me to say it, but Utd have still won more PL titles than all the other winning teams combined....rolleyes

Hopefully, all the current chasing pack will give City a decent challenge and they won't run away with it - but I have a feeling we'll all struggle to hang on to their coat tails..... frown
I'd love to be proved wrong on that though smile

Man Utd...!? Haha. Come on lads, leave off.
Are people voting who they think will win, or who they want to...?
United aren't going anywhere near the title this year.

Much as we like them to fail, I'm not so sure if I'm honest smile

Cheeky £20 on Utd not lifting the title...?
I can see them getting in top 4, but I don't think they're going to walk it.
